Got a ragequit in ranked, lol. I'm atleast seeing I didn't need Sentinel as a cheapass crutch to get easy wins, I'm 10-0 now with Deadpool/X-23/Dante. It is pretty amazing seeing people stand full screen at Deadpool zoning with pineapples and guns, I can just imagine how effective Artur would be on most of these people, nobody wants to move forward at all.

oh, for those of you working your way up to Thor's Mission 10: the second to last move is listed as a "fully charged H Mighty Smash." which leads into a Mighty Tornado. This means you have to hold down H in order to charge, then link to the Tornado.
After spending a fucking hour on perfecting every part (it's simple now), I was still stuck on charging that Smash before the dummy woke up and ended the combo (you're supposed to be able to hit them with the charged Smash while on the ground to continue the combo, according to the Mission details).
Solution: don't charge the Mighty Smash. The instructions are wrong and will only lead to you wasting lifetime unnecessarily. Just do a regular H Mighty Smash and link to Mighty Tornado. The end.

What? I'm allowed to be happy that I found a team that works on actual people: Captain America/Morrigan/Felicia. Cap's shield charge move was just what the team needed.
I wish I could save this a replay. I still have my first SSF4 online win saved. (Me as a scrubby Zangief basically bullying an Akuma.) Ah well, this fight wasn't that good, anyway. Lesson for today, my team beats beamspamming Thors for free. Felicia is too short, Morrigan can fly and projectile spam him, and Cap will just Hyper Charging Star him on reaction. I was hoping Cap could ignore Thor's beam, and wouldn't you know? He could. You know, if I can take out a beamspamming Thor like that, it bodes well for Sentinels.
Well, time to polish up this team, so I can start going after Ranked fights. Been throwing variants at Player Matches all day until I found one that I felt good with. This one feels good. Need to step up my Felicia game now, she's lagging behind.
I must remember why I chose Felicia, after all: To land a Please Help Me! on a Doctor Doom played by a real player. I must prove that kittens are better than squirrels.
And I need to be able to land that Magic Series every single time I get a chance to. How do everyone else do that? I get 2-3 more openings than my opponent, but when he gets one, I'm pretty much down one character...

Wow. When this game clicks it fucking clicks. Finally found a team and after about 7 hours of gameplay It seems like I'm just starting out. I was starting to get depressed because this is my 1st MvC game. I'm pretty good at SF so it was weird why I sucked at this.
