I've been playing this off and on all afternoon/evening/night for the first time ever since I just got my PS3 fixed... and I'm desperately trying to find the fun. This game seems a lot more agitating/annoying than fuck-awesomely competitive... the mechanics are weird, the same five characters are the ones that rape you online every time (the few times you can get a match)... I don't know. I guess I'm missing something here, because everyone else seems to be having a good time but I'm literally another 24-48 hours away from just switching back to SSF4.

If anyone has anything enlightening they can say or explain to me that will show me where I'm fucking up, I'm all ears... this was my most-wanted game of the year, and I am sitting here completely disappointed by it right now.

Chris G was dropping combos left and right. Champ wasn't dropping many of his from what I saw. He was even doing relaunch combos with TK M fireball and hitting it pretty much every time.

Chris G's Phoenix was impressive, but Champ seems to be on another level with her at the moment.
