So, any tips on dealing with Ammy f+h spam except pushblock? Seems safe on block from what I can tell.
jump? i dont know any ammy players so i dont really know myself. but i'd try jumping backwards and keeping her at bay with long rang normals like Taskys jump H

lol Chambers, I don't mean to spam Tenderizer, but I button mash too much so that's the only attack that ever comes out with Skrull LOL.

I know how it is. Tenderizer is why I stopped using Skrull for the time being. Way too easy for that move to come out.

Good games though. This game is a lot more fun when you play against someone of relatively equal skill.

Damn, Dark Phoenix is just insane. I was messing around with an Amaterasu/Dante/Phoenix combination. Basically bounced back and forth between Ammy and Dante getting hits in and mini combos but nothing spectacular. Eventually both got killed off, the other guy had all three of his characters left, all three anywhere between 1/3 and 1/2 health when he killed Phoenix. Dark Phoenix shows up and I activate X-Factor and just go to town. I don't think he got a single attack off and I wiped all three of his guys out flat.

I don't know if I feel comfortable with all that power.

Too bad I only know how to play 3 characters, I would have kept picking different chars but I can't play anyone else for crap, can't even play my own team well, lol.

Right now I'm pretty much sticking to Arcade to unlock character endings and Mission (can only get up to Lvl 5 with everyone), but I had a question as it pertains to online play. I know that for a lot of people, it comes down to picking a team they can win with and perfecting a style, but does anyone ever just hit the random button and play the hand you're dealt? Because I'm doing that with Arcade and finding that to be a lot more enjoyable than, say, picking a character I haven't beaten Arcade with and two I can spam-win with to ensure victory.

I have a main team I play with (Ryu/Dante/Mags) but if I'm playing a lot of matches in a row, I'll end up getting a little bored and start using random select. Just sucks when I end up with Phoenix as a point character. :lol

When I cleared arcade mode with each character I just went with the first three, then as I beat it with one I would choose the two I didn't beat it with a the next character...and on and on and on. I do all three random if I'm in arcade/training waiting for online matches though.

Next time it happens, remember that you can swap her out before the fight starts!

Unless you can't do it in Ranked...

Don't fell like playing online anymore today. So I started doing some of mission mode. Some of these combos are easy. Only After the 7th one it starts to get kinda hard.

I don't use random select, but I experiment with different teams in Arcade mode just to see how I do. I've only beat arcade mode once as at a certain point I just give up and want to play Live matches. But arcade mode is good training to see if you can competently use your team, at least I think so.

The only character I actively stay away from is Sentinel. I just feel so dirty if I use him.
