Also is the guide book worth getting? Does it have frame data?
Arpharmd B said:What ?? I played this and the online is great, better than SSF4 which was already great.
Are you on PSn or Xbox live?

Teknopathetic said:Online is noticeably worse than SSF4 but I'm not sure how much of that is due to netcode or due to the speed of the game. Still playable, but yeah.

DarkoMaledictus said:Yeah sent can be a handful... but I resigned myself never to play him or dante. My new team is zero, wesker and akuka.... hope sent likes infinites ;p
Ferrio said:Wasn't even sent himself, it was his damn assist.

Lost Fragment said:You sure any of it is 100%? Think she recovers instantly after going super saiyan. If so, then yeah, they're good setups but none of them are 100%. Maybe there are a few frames where she can't do anything and it just requires meticulous timing, but I haven't been able to set any of that stuff up so she couldn't escape it.
edit: well, I shouldn't say they're "good" setups since they cost a ton of meter + xfactor and they're easily avoided. But the one with She Hulk is a bit more difficult to avoid since Phoenix's only escape option is teleport. I think. Didn't try the Spiderman one.
MarshMellow96 said:This game is currently unplayable for me. I have played ranked 3 times and lost every fight. The game changed my controls for the last fight, so inputting QCB X+Y didn't give me my hyper combos. I make a mistake and I get raped by a 25-hit aerial exchange, which I can't perform because I cannot get past the the magic series because of the connection - super jump comes out too late, basically. direction and S in the air right? Doesn't work. I can't beat spammers because I want to play properly. But that is playing properly because it's zoning or something. I'm thinking of getting rid whilst I can sell it at a good price. I don't think fighting games are for me...

Got the update on Live today. It adds a DLC check on game start and changes the description for some of the unlockable titles (from "defeat someone who has this title" to "defeat a Shadow Mode opponent who has this title" or thereabouts).
They're listed in the Bradygames guide. Not sure if they've been posted anywhere else.GuiltybyAssociation said:Actually, is there a list anywhere of all the titles available? Kinda curious now.

The light attacks have barely any hitstun. They're definitely harder to combo from than almost any other magic series game I've ever played._dementia said:So I've only played a bit of mission mode and this by far seems like the fastest fighting game I have ever played. I'm going to get murdered with my old man reactions. Also I must be hitting the buttons too slow because I can't magic series. I had the same problem with guy and Ibuki and dudley's TCs in SSFIV.

Dark Phoenix Rising has no recovery frames whatsoever, but jumps have 3 frames of startup. I don't think holding up is a get out of jail free card.ntropy said:<lacerta> so i was bored and tried that haggar shit on phoenix
<lacerta> hold jump = whiff
<lacerta> if you do it too early she won't even need to jump to avoid it
