I wouldn't mind any of those characters from the X-Men side as DLC.
This would be great. There are more than enough solid X-Men characters to fill half a roster. The requirement to have parity on the Capcom side fills out the rooster too quickly with characters that aren't nearly as interesting.
That what I wish this game was. 2v2+gems would have been perfect for it. Stupid Capcom.

Well, I'd be telling a lie if I said I'm not glad we're getting another MVC.
If it were Marvel Super Heroes 2 or Capcom All-Stars, I'd be happy. I just know Capcom can't make both because they'd overlap.
Either way, I'm glad to at least have a chance at playing X/Sigma in a fighting game, so no complaints from me.

If the price for including X Men in this game means we have to have 3 more (likely 6 total) SF reps in this game do you guys do it?
I probably do but I would really be bitter about having 6 characters from the SF franchise in the first year or so of this games life. Who would the 3 even be? Every character from that game is in SFV, could be anyone
I wonder how they're going to do DLC with this game. Packs would be ideal imo. Minimum of 2 per pack so you can at least play a new team, as opposed to a new single character.
Also, I think of certain characters that might be DLC like, say... Shuma Gorath. Who the fuck would buy Shuma Gorath for $4.99?
But then lets say they do 2 packs for character DLC. Venom and Shuma Gorath for $9.99. Suddenly I think a lot more people are buying.

I think DLC where it's 1 well known character + 1 less popular character creates a good value for the buyer.

I see the season pack being like $25 and $5 each character by their own.
Packs of two could also be an option, having a theme for them. E3 can't come sooner.

I remember when they unveiled that for mobile, I was super salty that the concept when never fleshed out any further past the disgraceful Capcom Fighting Jam, and was instead being used for a budget mobile RPG card game.
Onimusha Soul is another mobile game that has a bunch of Capcom characters. Great designs for a lot of the females, missed opportunity for a better game.

Only way I take more SF characters if they go unique. Adding stuff like Q and what not. The issue is wed usually end up with the most safe & boring pics.

I want Akira in soooo baaaad <3 (well in anything really, her and Tessa) That would make an awesome alt costume!
4 "appearances" outside of her own game in all of Capcom history. 2 crossovers and 2 alt. costumes, which is not bad in terms of cameo count.

So far we have Xgard, Asgard Throne room, and Avengers Headquarters.

For stages I want Dark/Chaos Dimension merged with Temen Ni Gru. Would make perfect lore sense.
I think they'll all be merged stages with the exception of Avengers Tower, which is the heroes' base of operations. The Asgard throne room is technically merged since it's infected by the Sigma Virus.
