Finally getting around to reading Nextwave... the reinvented Machine Man was basically BUILT to be in a Marvel vs Capcom game. Telescoping limbs, any gadget (plasma rifle to giant nail clippers) you could inconceivably cram into him, and a hilarious mean-spirited attitude.

I will now lobby until the end of the earth for motherfucking Machine Man to teach some fleshy ones who is boss.

I could see a retread of MvC 3 Dante, with a DmC alt to keep things new (and troll the hardcore DMC fans ).

I don't think DmC costume is a troll at all.

There's a DmC Dante costume in DMC4SE. No one cared to complain or thought it was a bad inclusion. The more alt costumes the better.

Honestly I would take a DmC alt over the tenth LDK Sparda alt. I am so tired of that Sparda alt.

Legends: Tron
ZX: Prometheus and Pandora or Master Albert

Honestly, I have no idea what classic Protoman would even bring. He is mostly just classic Megaman except with a shield. I would also pick Ashe/Grey over the villains of ZX. The Axle/Model A/classic Bass fighting style needs to represented and the ability to copy enemies might be fun in a fighting game. Bass.exe is definitly the best BN pick though.

Obviously there is no way we are getting anywhere near that many Mega Man reps, but a ZX or Battle Network character would be cool.

Sieg Warhweit can't make it into a VS game because he's a character from a novel which Capcom does not own. They would have to get a separate license just for Chaos Legion characters.

Damn shame because he would be dope in a VS game. Summons act like pseudo assist, final form Thanotos Legion for LVL3.

I believe Capcom said that they own Strider and have no problems getting him into games, they just have to let Moto Kikaku know they're about to put him in something.

Roll.exe or Harp Note because they actually fight and have their own moves

Gene's rival would obviously be Iron Fist. They're both wisecracking martial artists with energy projection.

It's the only Capcom Five game that was never actually developed by Capcom, and I think Grasshopper usually retains some kind of minimal ownership of the works they do.

I'm pretty sure Capcom fully owns the Killer7 IP. I believe Suda himself said so.

Classic!Roll already had an awesome moveset in TvC. If she was to ever come back, that'd be what I and others expect.

Well, there's a report we'll get "3-5 Fox characters" as DLC later on already, and there may be more down the road. The only issue is that there's no way Wolverine, Doom, Deadpool, and Magneto aren't getting in, so you have to hope Storm gets in over Sentinel, Phoenix, Cyclops, or some other character and we get the full 5.

Again, though, maybe there'll be more down the road.

Yeah. He did say he wants to go to Capcom to try and make a remaster happen, which would be utterly fantastic news if it came to fruition.

See, I was thinking that for both of them. But I don't see Iron Fist as a worthy rival.. I see him for Chun-Li.

I could accept Hulk, but I dunno. Lol I'm mostly thinking about in a story point of view. If they hold true to what they say. I'm excited about it.

I'd say they wouldn't just drop all the Xmen/F4 into one years worth of DLC (its possible, but I wouldn't bet on it. They probably would bet on those selling season passes)

Too early to talk DLC, I know. But this is the XMEN and DOOM.

I would expect Wolverine, Magneto and Doctor Doom right off the bat.

I can't say what characters they could use for Capcom since they don't have some issue.

Edit: I doubt Shuma would be DLC again, so if he's not in the base roster.. Then I don't ever expect him to be back.
