Dino Crisis when you factor in how well the series has sold compared to other titles that have made it into VS games gets snubbed hardcore. I have no clue why. Like I said the series apparently wasn't even good enough to get Heroes vs Heralds cards. Part of what makes Regina as a costume in DR3 amazing. Though seems at this point, that was all Capcom Vancouvers doing.

The series must've pissed someone higher up at capcom at one point in time.

Just like Regina, Psylocke wasn't featured in those cards, only on the DoFP's poster. So I know that feeling too.

For Breath of Fire fans, we should vote for the franchise itself, rather than segregating the votes to few different characters or something. I'm not sure how we would make the noise for Regina and Breath of Fire characters.

Nah. Chris is 90% getting dropped. His moveset can easily be given to a lot of characters in the Capcom universe; his gimmick is weapons which so many characters can integrate. He does not posses any unique characteristics.

It's going to be two RE characters and Leon is 100% one of them.

The other one is either original Jill, Wesker, Ada or, small chance but still possible, Chris.

There's no leak but maybe he's just guessing who could be getting the shaft of the RE characters.

I honestly think that Wesker and Jill have more chance of returning than Chris and Nemesis and only if there's no new rep for the series.

Saying there will be two RE characters that way doesn't come across as speculation.

They could always go with the Battle Network incarnation of Zero. Not only would you have another villain, but Zero.EXE could open up with some interesting mechanics.

I fully agree with Leon and Ada but I just can't see Birkin making it over Wesker. Especially with the game having a storymode.

Vanilla MvC3 didn't have a monster.

I know Jill had the alt costume, but his inclusion was kinda strange.

So perhaps they do the same here, with us getting Leon and Ada for the RE2 theming. Then we get a random RE from another game like Krauser or Wesker.

Don't think you 'need' a Monster from the RE category (maybe transformation Krauser or Wesker in supers?)

I've just started playing BoF 4 a weeks ago and I already like Nina. She would've been awesome in UMVC3.

I really, really, really, really hope Infinite has a Breath of Fire rep.

REmake HD has been very successful and popular, so could easy get classic Jill, Wesker again...And throw in Barry who returned in Revelations 2 recently also.


Also screw a RE2make representation going Leon/ADA and not Leon/Claire.

I don't see Zero sitting out, because he's got an in-grained fanbase via TvC/MvC, and you'll just get his fans angry if he's not included. At best, we somehow get 4 MM characters (as unlikely as that may be), with a 4th character representing another franchise. Or perhaps they could truly go all in with the X series and just put in Vava/Vile in order to replace Tron.

Yeah, they had to rush the game out and cut 8 characters just like that. I guess Nina, Gill, MMX and Gene would got in if they have enough time to include 8 more characters.

Now that you say that, I remember having a dream about the game.

It was a reveal trailer featuring the X-Men as DLC. Gambit and Rogue looked great, although with their previous moveset. I found it weird since my top request is Psylocke and she was nowhere lol but I was happy with the others characters.
