That is extremely unfortunate. You should make an effort to play it, it's one of my favorite games.
You realize that if any BOF character got in it would be "hero" or this Ryu right?
This is like saying they would use DINO Dante in the next game.

I think I'd played the beginning ages ago, was there a demo? I always wanted to play it and then when I heard about the conclusion being dlc I backed off lol. I'm ready to dive in now though.
It would be very cool if they had a DmC stage. Playable normal Dante though.

Thank you for clarifying. Hopefully I'll play it soon. And regardless of my experience with the game, from what I've seen I believe Asura has been largely neglected and needs to be in the game. What's the next event people can start hoping for a reveal at?!

Since we have Xgard a Devil May Cry 3 stage which gets invaded by/sent into DmC Limbo would be interesting. Team "we-didn't-make-it-into-this-game" from both games fighting off hordes of demons in the background from the original games and the reboot. (but that's probably too distracting for the players playing the game?)

The only DMC stage that is worthy of being used is the top of Temen-Ni-Gru under moonlight while raining.
They can fuse it with some other Marvel universe stage like the Chaos/Dark Dimension. That shit would be OD! It even makes sense lore wise because Temen-Ni-Gru is actually a portal to a different dimension/world so if we throw in Marvel mechanics it can be used to get into the Chaos Dimension.

If DmC is never going to get a sequel, the least they could do is put Dante and Dante in for some unique banter between the two and a fun way to do the whole "who would win".

I'd like to see Thanos' MSH stage return. That stage was beautiful.

Stop wasting character slots mang, one Dante is enough.... and it better not be the DmC clown.
I think it's fine that they aren't that lively because Marvel 3 was notorious for having stage lag. I think right now they are trying to get the bare bones stage out to make sure the performance is in tact. Once they have everything full optimized then they can start tinkering with the stages.
Last thing we want are busy, unplayable stages that never get picked for competitive play.

The thing is Jawmuncher wants the DmC Dante as a separate character. I'm fine with him being a skin for OG Dante whatever but for the love of god not as a separate char. Pretty much every single other Capcom character would be a better choice.

Richard Rider, for sure. The major push for Sam in the comics seems to have slowed with his solo w/ Rich ending, so I could see them wanting to bring Rich back in a big way by himself. But don't get me wrong, I love Sam too.
Wise man. And while I'm still salty that the current Nova run is ending, hopefully it leaves Richard & Sam where they can continue to grow in the Marvel Universe (I.E. not shelving Richie in the Cancerverse, again).
Anyway, yeah, we almost got Miles as his own character in UMvC3.
