Wouldn't it New Warriors anyways? The current Secret Empire story doesn't even have Ms Marvel, Nova, or Cyclops as Champions.

Maybe it's a reach but...where else has Venom been THAT blue? And as the guy also pointed, it's a new pose for one of Funko Pop's Venom toys.

Still like the idea though. Unless we're getting a huge dump soon and toys and marketing are about to start hitting around that time.

Venom is sometimes drawn blue in the comics, yeah.
Mind, I would not be surprised if that were an MvC Venom pop. He's light blue, has the same eyes, and a big slimy tongue like he did in MvC1. Heck it even has the open palm-claws like he did before, and its kinda bulky looking.
At this point Venom is a given, I think.

Well, starting next month, we got E3 kicking things off, with EVO and SDCC soon after. Plenty of avenues to advertise this game. Toys starting their roll out makes sense to me, in that respect.

Guys. Venom in modern use is by and large a product of the black suit, and drawn as such (black), but surprisingly isn't in the doll.
Between the pretty tight match for colour, his pose and what corresponds in both... I think yall mfers are gonna get Venom Bit by me. Pretty solid case that he's in or at least considered.

Tbh I like Ock's chances alongside Pete and Eddie as well, seeing the MSH/MVC1 harkening of the game as well as the lack of Omega Red and the fact he was pretty much done for UMvC3.

I don't get it. He'll be place in this game, but he'll have that classic mvc color for sure

I kinda doubt Deadpool on Day 1 since SneakersSO explicitly said no Fox characters until 2018. If anything, TASM could be Doc Ock, Spidey/Deadpool could be Peter, & Spider-Man could be Miles.

They will reveal Spidey and Venom at E3 because Venom will also be in Insomniac's new Spider-Man game.

Yeah I agree. Unfortunately, I don't think the Green Goblin has a good chance of making it in. Although I think Doc Ock practically guaranteed since he almost made it into UMVC3. I would also love it if Ghost Rider came back, he was so much fun in the last game even if he did suck. But I would prefer Johnny Blaze over Robbie Reyes just because I think the motorcycle is way cooler than the car.

It'll be the duo with possibly the most complex morphing animations in the entire game. Can't wait, if that's indeed what we're in for.
Plus, at least lorewise, the two may have something in common. A love for the macabre, black humor, and a twisted sense of "justice", to boot!

Well, we were hearing it's large, and 46 by the end of 2017 would be very large. (So would virtually anything from 34+ at this point.)

Well, on the gaming side of things, only Sam Nova has been used recently (Puzzle Quest and Avengers Academy got him). We'll see what happens going forward, but they could always make the other a costume.
I sure hope so. The comic version of Reyes is one of the more memorable recent designs they've done (especially if Capcom nails the look of the flames). Plus he can teleport, which would be nice for his moveset in the game.

Isn't more likely that rocket w/ groot would be on the cover of the groot variant while star lord or another gotg will be on the variant cover for the gotg issue?
This of course assumes these 20 variants even confirm lead characters from those series being playable.
