Gamesplanet shows prices in pounds for me, not sure if it shows buckaroos for you?
GMG has it 25% off which would be $45
it was from the first Bum stream with the game, they said the combo structure is so open, it felt like they were playing a open world game, GTA or some shit.
the sentiment has been mirrored by many others (on the combos, not so much on the open world comment)

I've been missing Sentinel for almost a decade now.
It's legit weird. I mean yeah SFV was basically made from the ground up, where MvCI had a lot to borrow from UMvC3, but damn this is really turning out to be a full featured launch, where as we all know how SFV's launch went. It's usually the opposite.
Either way good for MvCI.

They announced that here will be a "beginners league" for online, so that novice players can play exclusively against novice players.
Battleborn PR antagonized its fans? Did it try to pass of a 30FPS game playing the same as a 60FPS game? Did it try to put down other character designs by equating them to gay cowboys?

I am surprised which characters got to return from UMvC3. The lack of Wesker saddens me. Plus, getting Chris instead of Leon or Jill is shit.
I'm glad we got Black Panther even if he is DLC, but like others mentioned where is Daredevil? We got Iron Fist last game, so let's get DD in this one for some Defenders love.
Also, fuck Firebrand, fuck Arthur, and a big fuck you to Frank West. With so many Capcom IP's to work with at least the Capcom side could've not been rehash.
Oh and have we heard any talk on the net code? This is the big worry for me if I try to take it online. I have this gut feeling it will be hot shit like vanilla MvC3 was...

Let's pump the brakes a bit there. Arthur's a classic Capcom character, & Frank West is from one of Capcom's more prevalent modern franchises. Both of them coming back is entirely justified. Not sure about why Firebrand's back, though.
As for Chris, he's one of the most recurring Resident Evil characters in the franchise (RE1, 5, 6, DLC for 7, etc.), so I can somewhat see the logic behind his return. That said, I would be down for Leon over Chris, but eh.

The gay cowboy comment didn't really blow up until after the game was released. The most that happened was NT and Capcom being a little hostile towards the fanbase while also a lot of people taking the wait and see approach.

Dead Rising is still alive, more than many franchises that are dead or shelved.
Also many people were very positive about net code so yeah.
It was pretty bad. I think Battlebor had it worst tho.

Nah, combo breaker needs to be super, duper easy to notice because of how much crazy stuff is flying around the screen. It would really make offense less fun if you had to constantly be on the look out for a little "combo breaker" indicator on screen.

The SFxT2 jokes only made sense when Capcom had announced assists would not be returning, and told us nothing else at all. If we had known that the tag system would be what it is today, the joke never would have been made at all, and months of bad PR would have been avoided. Because this tag system really is something fantastic and interesting, and people would have been speculating on possibilities instead of perceived failures.

Battleborns dead now it can't hurt you anymore. I played it every day for like a month until a woman I was dating stole it no idea why she'd take that of all things though.
