How come no one is streaming story mode?
If they revived the game from Capcom it was with the stipulation that they could only show off training.

They aren't allowed to. (those copies are reviewers copies so it came with NDA) They only can do training and versus.
NDA only allows training and VS mode.

Well, I meant that MVCI's Season 1 DLC was locked in before Black Panther's movie release was moved.
I might have been misremembering forum chatter in my MAA days for actual rumors of Spider-man getting hit like the X-Men and the Fantastic 4 if Sony didn't work with them. Not sure. But yeah, if such a thing was planned, it never happened.
Most are better or have better tools... except Chris.
Let's see:
Nemesis: Way better now.
Ghost Rider: Way better now.
Hulk: Better in some ways, worse in others. Probably will be around the same.
Thor: Definitely better.
Arthur: Better but don't know if it will be enough.
Spider Man: Kinda different, better in some ways worse in others.
Dante: Too different to tell but at least on point he seems to be better.
Strider: Better as a point, more well rounded.
Spencer: Very similar to before, probably worse in general. No more 80K makes him a lot worse in general.
Chris: Actually significantly worse than Marvel 3 if compared 1 to 1. He has a couple of new tools but lost tools too.
Rocket Raccoon: Kinda different, hard to say if better or worse. I would say around the same.
Dr Strange: Definitely better.
Hawkeye: Better in some areas, worse in others.
Dormammu: Better in some areas, worse in others. Probably going to have a different focus in this game. Definitely a good character all around in this game.
Zero: Changed around, better in some areas and worse in others. Probably going to be about as good as in Marvel 3 lol! Who knows, I doubt he can be as oppressive as in Marvel 3 in terms of easy TOD.
Morrigan: That zoning style of Soul Fist is dead for the most part, she is more rushdown inclined now. Definitely worse than before but not a bad character.
Captain America: Better in some ways, worse in others (no down/forward angle with Shield Slash in air is so weird). Might end up being better all around because Trick Shield is a nice tool.
Nova: Better in some ways, worse in others. Seems less scrubby and yolo than before, he doesn't have Dolphin kick box dash option select but now he has better mobility, more reliable buff mechanic, an actual fast low and trickier centurion stuff.
Iron Man: Definitely better because his mobility isn't garbage anymore.
Ryu: Mostly better than in Marvel 3 but he is not a lot better so it might not matter.
Chun Li: Generally better than before but quite a bit different as well.
Most characters in this game are better than before. But just because they are better doesn't mean that they will be competitive, it's a different game now.

Well at least he can still have his decent ST self in USF2 and Evil Ryu is busted as fuck in that game too...Why is USF2 Evil Ryu so Marvel compared to Marvel Ryu?

No one thankfully. I'm just playing the game since I have nothing better to do and see if there is more to the character. There definitely isn't.

So in this time line raccoon city didn't blow up. Means Leon can't exist. Since he is now just a regular cop since he didn't survive an outbreak and get hired by the government.
I think Capcom got the order wrong in the Captain America tutorial videos for Basic and Advanced combos. Just took my time to read the notations for the Advanced one:
HP, f+HP, qcf+HP, wait, HP, f+HP, qcb+HP, qcf LP+HP.
Can you spot the pattern? It's a Hard one, I'll admit. Silliness aside, that seems like a fairly friendly combo. One button, and one you got the HP, f+HP, cancel into special thing down, you have the entire combo already. Although that makes me wonder... what else can you do from there? Ending it with that Hyper seems wasteful. At least use Hyper Stars and Stripes. Or tag in your partner. Or... well, do anything but finish it with Hyper Charging Star.

man, I'm a bit low on cash (although I can afford it), but reading this thread make me really want to get it day one. and I really want those preorder costume too(Gladiator Hulk especially) so I'll have to spend $90 for the game if I want it. damnit Capcom, why is your game so expensive...

they should still do a first to 10 round robin between everyone who got the game early on stream. would be awesome to watch.
