So far what are players doing to triangle dash? I've been doing a df dash canceled into an air light, seems the fastest way so far and avoids issues with wavedash with characters that can use it.

Hawkeye isn't that bad.

His Lightning Ball move is actually special cancelable into anything (this was one of his proposed buffs when UMVC3 was out). This really opens up his game.

I said his jump was floaty was before and that is still true but DUD jumping fixes that. That will be essential to his game plan.

Also like 3 of his projectiles lead into a full combo on hit. That's not that big of a deal in this game because just about anything can lead into a full combo on hit but this is still relevant.

His arrow scratch normal is still pretty good.


FChamp said that Spider Man, Rocket, Firebrand and Dorm have pretty high optimization potential (ie. skill ceiling and tech) so they are going to take time to master.

Smooth Viper doing work with Hawkeye right now.

Rocket was a high skill ceiling and tech character in Marvel 3 too as well. Not that surprising to be honest. At the very least he will be a good support character.

You got me confused with someone else, I never said I was going to play Thor. Never played him in Marvel 3, never had interest in him in MVCI.
