I can definitely see Katee pulling off the role.

Or maybe Stana Katic. She's great on Castle. Charismatic, badass, sexy, she's got it all.

Yvonne's still on my list, though. I'd be happy with these three.

You know, it'd be cool if they got both Captain Marvel (Carol Dhanvers) and the new Ms Marvel, Kamala. She could take the sort of Spider-Man position in the MCU, a regular person who gained these abilities and fights mostly street-level crime and shit, not like massive political conspiracies or aliens. Just have Carol be a famous hero in the MCU who inspires Kamala to become a hero while Carol herself gets sucked into the Cosmic side of things.

YES regarding everything about Carol in the above post. And I'd hope it would be Katee. I mean, it kind of just feels like one of those situations where the actor and the role were meant for each other.

As for Kamala, though... I have a feeling she already exists. Will she have the same background as in the comics? I'm gonna say:

Katee is one of those casting choices that's so perfect that I'll be super pissed if they go with anyone else.
