It looks ok, my only beef is that it looks a little too safe. I was expecting it to be more combo based, like an arcade or DMC, or even Ninja Gaiden. You go and kill one enemy and then jump to another one, keep the combos going, have more complex combos, fast reflexes because the enemies are ruthless, etc. That would make the game very fast pacing.

The voice actor doesn't fit the character.

The disappearing blood was definitely a distraction.

The combat looks like a reskinned Spider-Man, which doesn't fit either. Adding buckets of blood helps a little. But Wolverine zipping around the map looked silly.

Honestly, I would not play more than 5 minutes of this, I guess this is the best you can do with a character like Wolverine, they even had to give him some unnatural teleport like jumps to make it more dynamic.
A full X-men game with varied gameplay would have been better.

NGL, it looks how I expected it to look.

There's a reason this isn't open world and more straight-forward.

Wolverine isn't a super combat dynamic and tech-heavy superhero compared to a Spider-Man or Batman. It's why they have good games and actually get them.

I do however hope that the gameplay they showed was at the start so it leaves room for more moves and more interesting combat arenas later.

It feels like they couldn't find a fresh formula for this game and are just going to go all out on making it an Uncharted-inspired cinematic experience. Except no one really does the set-pieces as well as Uncharted and this looks totally underwhelming.

And this is coming from a massive Wolverine fan.

Should mention this is all rumored castings......but we are pretty sure, some of the leaks look on point.
Though whether every character is a facsimile or not is yet to be seen.

Cant help but point out that Mystique is cannonically one of the most beautiful people on the planet, her being blue and lacking pupils/irises is what makes her weird to regular people.
They coulda got any super model for the face scan and it woulda worked.
