- Cloak
- Proxy Mine
- Overload
Less survivability than a Salarian, but more lethal against Geth with chain overload.

it would probably have some sort of unique power. like the justicar has bubble, the geth have hunter mode, the batarians have blade stuff and the net, and krogan vanguard is a krogan vanguard.
im just not sure what it'd have. looked at the wiki, heres some possibilities: assasination, damping, shield boost, dark channel, defense matrix, stasis, decoy.
Riding on the back of an Elcor that has two Claymores mounted on it.
they don't even need to make proper rolling animations, he's round like a ball regardless.
Rather just play a GI if that's what they get.

I don't know. I love crippling geth and vanishing shields before I land a precious Widow bullet man
I'm having trouble playing now. A few minutes after I booted up the multiplayer, there would be a network error of some sort. Leaderboards won't load up, I can't create my own games or join games. And if I happen to join a game, when wave 1 starts, everyone doesn't move like they're frozen. Also, PSPacks don't show up for me anymore.
Is anyone else having this problem?
Edit: This is on the 360 btw. Rebooting only fixes it for a few minutes and it happens again.

Couple of my friends can't play at all today either on 360. Something funky seems to be going on.

I've got 6 points left on my Asari adept that I can use on either weapon damage or reducing the weight of heavy pistols.
Does the Carnifex let me get 200% CD once upgraded?

Naw... Overload and Proxy Mine are two abilities that conflict with each other coming out of cloak.
Gimme Assassination, Defense Drone, and Overload. Something new.

I've been playing for the last 4-5hrs or so with no problems (360), but the last match (just finished 10mins ago) had one guy who didn't move the whole time.

........and they weren't there in the store anymore after I played a match. Then I couldn't get back into a match at all. Went somewhere, and now that I'm back I still can't get into a match. I dunno what the problem is.

Doesn't seem like anybody have any direct answers for what's going on, only guesswork from people piecing together a puzzle.
But from all indication, the accounts are flagged and locked on the server side if you redeemed the packs that were briefly available this afternoon.

My account seems to be working now.
PS3 version, bought on PSN. I was able to join a bronze game a moment ago. I was locked out with the others this afternoon when the Victory/Premium Spectre Packs went up briefly.
This incident has me terrified to actually play the game now though, incase they're still doing something in the back end with the database.

Tried the Geth infiltrator grenadier build. Good god that is powerful. When I was host, playing with good players, I was still netting 120k per match. Without host, I got 75k. Those disappearing falcon grenades really kill the class when you don't have host.
However, I recommend carrying the Geth submachine gun - only 3% extra cool down, but it's good at taking down the heavies (prime, atlas).
Edit: didn't get any packs, nor did I see the premium packs on Xbox.

-- I logged on after they took down the glitched packs and can play fine. But DAMN it's super glitchy on XBOX for me. Getting grabbed from 20 feet away by Banshees and (strangely) Phantoms. I got instabbed twice today by Phantoms nowhere near me - it just teleported me to them and sword through the gut. Never had that happen before (yes, I know lag can be an issue, but it's only today that things really started getting out of control). All sorts of glitchy wierdness that almost made me throw my controller at the screen. No other problems with pack openings or anything, just ridiculous behavior by the instagib enemies. Either get rid of their glitchy ass instadeaths or deal with the problems causing it.
-- Oh, had the usual enemies stuck in crates and unkillable BS too but that's usual glitchy crap and nothing new.
-- It's too bad Bioware is dropping the ball on this like everything they do recently. The multiplayer has surprised the hell out of me with how fun it was (just started really playing it this week after dropping the game for weeks due to disgust at the SP ending).

I still have shitty weapons though, which is quite annoying. I have a decent array of assault rifles, but only 2 snipers, 2 shotguns, and I've been stuck with the default pistol and SMG. I have hardly any upgrades for anything either. Really kind of sucks, especially playing an Adept or other pistol-favoring class, when you're stuck with the worst weapons. I've never been a big AR fan the Mass Effect series at all.
And Krogan Soldier is just sort of interesting, with the melee-centric playstyle. Different than anything else. Still really want the Asari Adept the most, followed by one of the unlockable Infiltrators, but I need weapons and good upgrades just as badly. No game, the SMG scope is not useful.

Stick to the formula of getting low level characters up in bronze games then easing into silver matches.
Don't try and waste time beating your head against a wall on gold with randoms.
Veteran packs will give you everything you need early on and the credits you get from Bronze/Silver games will more than cover that.

Just started playing this a lot more since leaving it after initial SP completion. Any tips for a beginner in getting better weapons / characters?
Got once biotic to level 20 then 'promoted' it (whatever that means!) and an engineer to 19. Mainly only bought spectre packs and played bronze / silver.
Any basic advice would be hugely appreciated, cheers!

When you promote a character/class, everyone in that class goes back to level 0 with their stats reset.
What this does is raise your readiness for the campaign and raise your N7 rating (by 10 points) in multiplayer
As for leveling up, i usually start with a couple of bronze challenges, move up to silver for a couple more and them obviously gold without spending any credits
In gold challenges, you get about 75k credits which is more than enough for a spectre pack. Once you're on a high level, just stick to gold challenges and every match will earn you enough to buy a good pack and get rare weapons/characters

I tried a few gold games with random players (myself included!) and we got trashed in about wave 3. Any particular classes / combinations that work well for Gold games?
I suppose my only problem is really finding the time to play, 20mins a game means I can only really fit in about 3 or 4 games a week!
