I thought the victory pack was supposed to be just an equipment pack. The commendation pack is the one with the actual stuff.

You'll get the commendation pack too, I'm assuming you're on PC, it just comes later for some inane reason.

It's difficult to describe just how bad this weapon is. Basically, take a weapon and give it the worst DPS of any weapon in the game. Then, give it the same recoil as the Revenant. Give it no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Put it in Commendation Packs, obtainable once every two weeks and the only way to get the Valiant.

It's difficult to describe just how bad this weapon is. Basically, take a weapon and give it the worst DPS of any weapon in the game. Then, give it the same recoil as the Revenant. You get that chance for completing the operation's objective. You don't get it for merely showing up.
Could have been much much worse. Could be like one of the people that got the Victory pack first and couldn't play for the rest of the day and most of today. It's a free pack with equipment for the community really, I'm not complaining. If the completing gold challenge was just equipment, yeah I would have been annoyed.

There is a steadily growing post on the official forums about the online pass problem. Long story short, some part of their online account system is royally fucked up at the moment, to the point where customer support can't even look up your account to find problems, much less fix them.

I agree with this. The move to the biweekly format seems a little lazy. I've been spoiled by stuff like Halo: Reach which has both weekly and daily challenges, and their backend doesn't completely shit the bed every other time they try something. Opening the Victory pack early today had the nasty side effect of disabling multiplayer entirely for some folks on the BSN.

Apparently, what caused my black screen of death is a corrupted association file of my profile to the game. And there's no fix.
So pretty much, my ME3 discs are both useless. No patch in sight, this issue has been persisting since launch 2 months ago. Thanks a lot, BioWare. It was fun while it lasted, I guess. Won't even be able to play the SP DLC either. So yeah, fuck you BioWare.

It's a pistol that behaves like an SMG with all the negatives and none of the benefits. Weakest gun in the game, massive recoil, can't hold as much ammo as an SMG, impossible to level up. Why is this gun a promotional unlock?
The time it takes to switch weapons and back doesn't eclipse a reload or heavy melee imo

Is it me or did they decrease the number of credits that you get in gold rounds? I seem to be getting a max of 37k in wave 10.
it takes longer to switch to the eagle, aim and start firing haphazardly than it does to reload the claymore and get a headshot

A Predator I - the starter pistol - deals twice as much DPS as the Eagle. It also has better accuracy, no recoil, weighs less, and is less affected by armor. If you really want a fully automatic weapon, even a Locust - itself one of the worst weapons in the game - is massively better. Substantially higher DPS, more accurate, and negligible recoil.
The only possible reason I can think of to equip an Eagle is so you can FRAPs yourself using it on a solo run for ultimate bragging rights.
