Quarians are a bunch of dicks. I'm glad I managed to get Shep to punch one of them in the nuts for firing at the Geth ship while Shep was in it.Why did Legion have to die? I don't even like Quarians.
Edit: Is there a way to submit stuff to that tumbr? I would like to do that.

Please note, we want to give people time to experience the game so while we cant get into specifics right now, we will be able to address some of your questions once more people have had time to complete the game. Lets also remember the man/woman that started this journey for us. What do you love most about your Commander Shepard? Please try to keep the discussion spoiler-free."
Marauder Shields is the best character int he series.
The battle itself and the War Asset gameplay element was the most disappointing part of the game for me. I went around building all these alliances, collecting all these races and War Assets, thinking they'll play into the final battle with their own unique cutscene and effect on the endgame itself.
I thought I'd see Geth drop down from the sky to support Marines under fire.
I thought I'd see the Quarian Liveships all fire their massive Thanix cannons against a Reaper, destroying it.
I thought I'd see the Rachni queen and her children rain down from the sky, pouncing on Reaper ground forces.
I thought that Volous bombing fleet or Cereberus fighters would swoop in and do bombing runs in support of Hammer units.
I thought I'd see my squadmates, old and new, leading charges against Reaper forces, or coming at the 11th hour to pull my ass out of the fire.
I thought I'd see a lot of things come out of my allies and I thought everything I did would give Hammer a much better chance to succeed. Instead, they get slaughtered completely regardless of what I do. What was the point of getting the Rachni or Geth involved if they don't show up at all in the final battle? Why was it that the only Hammer units I had any sort of contact with during gameplay were all Marines? Was it too much to ask for Rachni or Krogran charge? Was it too much to ask for that platoon of Geth Prime to back me up? I guess it was.
Because I saw none of it.
The End of Evangelion? What is this shit?
Edit, oh, OK. It is.
But we got Rachni workers who creeped out the Alliance scientists!Great post. We got nothing. The decision to save or kill the Rachni ultimately didn't matter at all.
I want this to be fake because this is the worst shit ive ever seen.

bsn said:Just going through that Final Hours-app for iPad. Mac says in a video that the ending doesn't explain much on purpose:
'The existence of the Reapers and where they first came from, those are answers we intentionally don't want to get in to right now, we don't wanna talk about them, because sometimes leaving them open to interpertation is sometimes better.'
He says BioWare does know the details, and they had a lot of extra questions you could ask the omgbigaliensuperrobot-AI/starchild, but they decided to keep it 'high level' so we can figure it out for ourselves.
It also shows a note in which BioWare expects the fans to be 'Boy, but why did he have to die?' leading to 'Lots of speculation from everyone'. And there is something about 'End of the first matrix' and 'Brave new world'. Also 'They say bomb'. Can't figure out most of that note.
Other stuff:
- There is a deleted scene in which you see your squad die in London before entering the beam. It's quite dramatic. Garrus and Liara getting destroyed by the Reaper's laser.
- Crucible will cause 'galactic dark age'.
- The original idea (before Mass Effect 1) was that humanity was designed as slaves for the Protheans. Which made us extra special because we were engineered to use Prothean technology, unlike the other species.
- Casey: 'Everyone is going to have a different ending to some degree based on their choices and their galactic readiness, so it wass important for me to have one final scene where everyone has the exact same experience.'
- New Mass Effect games will take place before or during the events of Mass Effect 3, not after.
- A picture of Casey's wife which is encouraged to 'tap, then pinch and zoom'.
- Jacob Taylor survived the suicide mission in 93.3 percent of all games, Tali only 75.7.
- Multiplayer FPS stuff.
- 8 percent of the readers want a MMO, 17 percent a prequel, 66 percent want Mass Effect 4.

Yah, he just needs to go into his settings and make it possible to accept submissions. Standard tumblr feature.
SA Forum User said:It's not even a totally original idea, unfortunately. Drakengard, for all its many flaws as a game, did the same thing in a far more coherent way: every ending involves the world getting fucked up somehow, and the next ending after it (usually obtained by receiving the previous ending and unlocking an extra chapter) solves whatever problem fucked the world up last time but introduces an even worse one in its place. The more effort you put into the game, the greater and more bizarre a catastrophe your actions visit upon the world. And in that game's case it's at least clearly intentional.

I just realized that Bioware doesn't exactly have much in the way of goodwill left with its fans.
Dragon Age 2, while by no means terrible, was largely considered a cash-grab in order to put money into the company. It was built very quickly, based largely on old assets. People assumed they were loading up their budget for Star Wars: The Old Republic or Mass Effect 3, but it kind of soured the franchise for a lot of people.
Star Wars: The Old Republic, did not come out as big as anyone had hoped, I'd imagine it'll fall into the same pit that any other MMORPG not named World of Warcraft eventually falls into.
And now with this whole Mass Effect 3 debacle, I think most of its core fanbase aren't thinking highly of them at all. The EA profit-first policy seems to be deeply ingrained into that developer's core now, I honestly don't expect them to really deliver a quality product that measures up to the same level as Mass Effect 1 or Dragon Age 1 did.
I sure as hell wasn't kidding when I made a remark earlier in this thread about EA closing the original Bioware studio in less then three years.
History repeating itself, basically.
but ehm, what happened that made this thread explode? All I see right now is the Geoff booklet? Is that it?
Where exactly is it? I went to preferences but didn't see it. Unfamiliar with Tumblr.

Thanks a lot, you have rehosted a lot of the stuff I liked and forgot to save. I'll edit it to make it so people can contribute.

http://https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4H_A7SeawU4&feature=youtube_gdata_playerCould someone please summarise the main points people are so pissed off about with regards to the ending? I get that the post credits thing was dumb and choices from the first 2 games didn't make much difference but other than that I don't really see what was so offensively bad. Certainly it wasn't as good as it could have and there's stuff I'd have liked to see that wasn't in there, but thats they only have so much time and resources to make what is already a massive game. I don't see why people are treating it like its worst ending of all time and that people actually think bioware should change it seems absurd.

So I got the final hours app jsut now and flipping through it there is a great chart that maps out the plot for ME3 and all its possible variants. The only problem is that there good way to look at the whole image. Is there a way to rip images from an iOS app and no I don't mean a screen cap I want some kind of data mining tool.
