Not that I'm an advocate of hot/cold controllers, but I think it would be easy to get the controller to become cold. Just make parts of it out of aluminum and have little fans inside to blow on it. Not sure about hot though.

Anyway, here's hoping to a 3D visor.
 
yeah, my guess is something with f'n mario in it. they need to show a revolution title pretty soon here.

That thing about "Mario after the ice melts" would be nice. Mario Sunshine 2 in late winter/early spring 2006? Video of the Revolution Mario title? Just give me another fucking Mario game for Christ's sake.

The problem with posting an image like that is its meaning is so ambiguous that you can twist it to mean anything.

It one of those interviews where Miyamoto(or was it Iwata?) said if they showed you a picture, it would be revealing too much. You can't tell a controller can become hot or cold from a picture.

EDIT: Also think of the premise of Resident Evil 5. You have to keep out of the sun. The controller getting REALLY hot could be an indicator for you to find shade.

Come on, we can only hope it's true. Usually when companies "cool" up their old franchises, it works out quite well.

The pic is just saying that they are taking Mario off ice, like unfreezing him out of cryogenic storage he has been in since Mario Sunshine (in a platform game for a home console). He is hinting that Mario 128 will be shown.
 
I'd like to know who just walks up to someone and hands them a frozen mario. I mean...what do the expect you to do with it? You can't really hold it...nor put it in a bag.

I'd bash it on the nearest concrete floor and pocket the Mario figurine.
