I guess it's happening, or at least he thinks it is, but honestly I think whatever announcement they make they won't reveal any games yet

chances are that if they're willing to show off games, specs will be shown at the very least. interface is the main reason they're being so anal, aside from just being Nintendo.

In Japan, Super Mario World was called Super Mario World: Super Mario Bros. 4.

whatever you think of the guys writing/reviews or whatever (IMO he's one of the better reviewers at IGN), matt is usually spot on with this kind of stuff and has very good sources, so i imagine something will go down. seems to me it's too early to reveal the controller, so i figure probably specs/screenshots/footage. i really hope they show footage. The graphics comparison threads with all three consoles should be pretty entertaining.
