Mario goes on an arctic vacation, and the gyroscopic controller allows him to slide around on the ice

Long time ago i had this vision of Link sliding a snowy mountain on his shield.

Mario sliding with gyro = A WINNER (IMHO)

That thing about "Mario after the ice melts" would be nice. Mario Sunshine 2 in late winter/early spring 2006? Video of the Revolution Mario title? Just give me another fucking Mario game for Christ's sake.
Mario Snowfall as a replacement for Zelda this holiday. Believe :(

Mario 128/256 to be released after the polar caps have melted/ when hell has frozen over.

Johnny, did you get additional information to the picture or did you have to interprete it on yourself?

Hey Johnny, was wondering if Prassana Ghali, Claude Comair, Meghan Shoesmith or Samir are still at NST, can you confirm any?

Mr. Ghali was teaching a course at Digipen again. He hasn't worked on an NST game since he completed Ridge Racer 64 and Wave Race: Blue Storm.

Claude Comair left to Lebanon, to start off a Digipen like project there.

Not sure about the other two.

Matt's response about GAF over at the IGNboards:

I don't understand what's the problem over there at the Gaming Age Forums. They constantly ridicule me about news involving Revolution. Oh well. Olimario, if you're reading this, please tell your friends to stop.

Haha, Olimarion. :D

I don't happen to like Matt because he's being such a crybaby sometimes and because it's hard to spell his last name (Casamasasisnssinna?). He wanted hi-def on Revolution very badly and he basically told Nintendo what to do. I guess it's ok with venting your anger or frustration, we all know how Nintendo can be, but come on. He encouraged everyone to start e-mailing Nintendo about it. I don't like that, it's a waste of human energy (N-bots should use it somewhere else, like, the gym) and a waste of resources for Nintendo in general (someone is going to have to read all of those e-mails you know).

He has done. We welcomed him so warmly. After all, we're a kind, loving forum, not cynical hard-bitten pessimists.

the IGN boards isn't better when it comes to pessimists.

He's just a person, like any of us.

He's entitled to his opinions, just like the rest of us.

He keeps his professional (his reporting) separate from his opinions (his mailbag).

I don't understand the hate and disrespect either.

It isn't like anyone here knows him personally, right?
What is the point of hating on someone, or trash talking someone, like that?
There is a difference between "discussing" someone elses opinion, and "insulting" their character and self-worth.

We're all gamers here, people. The man is just doing his job. Let him, plaese.
I don't understand how some people can take things so personally.

It’s pretty obvious we are jealous is it not? He gets _paid_ for writing and whining about Nintendo.

Is that you Pope?

Pope? No, I don't know who that is.

Ruz, yea, I mean, I can totally understand not liking what someone who has influence does, but to say that you "hate" someone you don't know because of something as minor as that is kind of silly.

But I wasn't talking to you specfically, I was just commenting.
I usually avoid getting involved in ANY type of arguments, but sometimes
people just rip into Matt C like they are personally attacked by him or something, and I think, in general, that is just wrong.

But anyway, more Rev knews please :)

I respect Matt for being one of the only editors at IGN who doesn't type up articles while sucking the metaphorical cock of the company he writes about.

And he's easily the best reviewer there.
