That's why Scottish Sun was pushing SNP as a shining beacon of hope, whilst English Sun was berating them as a dangerous threat. Ultimately Murdoch wanted Conservatives in. SNP took from Labour in Scotland.

There are 59 Scottish seats, 12 are members of the Coalition. After the election there will only be 1 (on the exit poll). If England voted Tory because Scotland wouldn't vote Labour that is fucking stupid

Feels like pretty much everyone associated with a party is saying similar right now - too early to say and they won't go out on a limb for fear of being made silly looking down the line.
Yeah. I mean, I don't really blame them (don't want to be quoted saying you'd rather do a deal with one party when the leadership decides another), it just feels kind of pointless. Although I suppose that's more of a criticism of the coverage in general than the individual politicians.

What's wrong with Nick Robinson? He sounds like Don Corleone.

'You disrespect me, you disrespect my family'.

It sounds too stupid to be anything but forced.

Tell me about it. Tactical voting is fucking stupid and wishing people do it is just as bad.

The bus drivers were striking in Bradford last week. Galloway came to the strike and handed out fucking flyers for the respect party to get them to re-elect him. He's fucking nuts.

Just means the majority of the conservative and labour seats in England remained the same, with a few gains here and there from lib dems.

FiveThirtEight prediction updated based on the first three results:

That's actually better for Labour than their prediction from before any results. Hope!

Lots of people seem to not like Mr. Balls here. Can anyone link me something to read to inform me about why that is?

It is a general thing with him with a few good examples but you'd have to follow politics in Britain for a while to get a true sense of how much of a cunt he is. One thing is every PM questions or whatever he chirps away in the background trying to put the person speaking off, entirely unnecessary. Saying some truly dipshit stuff, and you can hear him even without a mic anywhere near him which everyone has confirmed he is loud as hell in the house.

Just a quick one for liberals out there damning any UKIP coalition (not possible anyway), if that were to happen they are entirely anti-war whereas Tories/Labour have thrown thousands of lives away over nothing. More parties/people reigning in our random wars over stupid crap is a good thing, and hopefully Greens get more seats to to help with that. I am actually disappointed how little Iraq came up over the election, costing so much life, so much money, a spectacular failure and we're going to reap that whirlwind for a while to come.

Looks like East Belfast is going to be super close. Didn't think Alliance had a chance of retaining it due to FLEGGGGGS.

Really hope they do.

Should probably not trust the 7-11 security cameras quite so much
The one good thing about this shambles is that it guarantees electoral reform. With so many parties splitting up the vote, FPTP is no longer appropriate.

Trust me on this. SNP have won Rutherglen, 24,000 majority overturned. It's not even close according to a mate at the count.

I wish they'd stop banging on about this exit poll and about all these forecasts, but then I guess there is nothing else to talk about.
