May PS plus games for EU

So far this year in terms of out put Indies > AAA

And i would agree that the quality of Indie games are amazing (Except Mercenary kings and Don't Starve) Getting Games i missed out such as stick it to the man , Resogun , Outlast , dead nation on a £12 sub is pretty fucking amazing.

I am glad to be paying for the subscription for these games rather paying £54 for a so called AAA game

Fixed that for you.

If I already own the games, what am I exactly getting? Oh and let me remind you that PS+ has always offered the "free games" benefit. I signed up for that alone and it served me well. Too bad it's kind of starting to decline.

Hopefully next month brings a better selection for me.

Because Sony should consider what you already own before making the decision on the next free game. It must be nice to be king of the world. PS+ didn't exist when the PS1, PS2, & PS3 were in their first year, so my statement still stands. It wasn't so long ago that we didn't get shit for free.

I agree mostly but I disagree on some points. I already played Dead Nation and Stick It To The Man on PS3/Vita, so that's two weak month for me. However I enjoyed Outcast, Rosogun and Mercenary Kings. I wouldn't have bought these personally. The problem I see is all the months have been indies. First few months is understandable but Sony needs to put at least one "big" game on PS+.
Why don't they put Killzone Shadow Fall Multiplayer there? And give the players an option to buy the Single Player for a discounted price if they wanted. Or vice versa.

Good Vita lineup

PS4 plus is still disappointing considering you are required to pay to play multiplayer. Hopefully we get some better games down the line.

My PS+ isn't free and we did get online multiplayer for nothing before the PS4 so one could say that we now get less shit for free than before.

I agree with your other points though, it's weird to complain about May's lineup and calling SittM indie crap.

I love to get free games with my paid subscription.

I do enjoy the titles that comes with this months PS+. Previous months I already had most titles on the PC or rather played them on there, so it is nice when there is an exclusive title like Puppeteer.

Puppeteer is a fantastic game, I hope it sold decently enough as games like that need support. Hopefully it's exposure through plus will gain it even more well deserved respect.

I have a feeling they will in regards to the Killzone multiplayer. I think Sony will announce AC4 as there first big "AAA" game at E3.

Two games i always wanted to try (Stick it to the Man, Muramasa Rebirth)
Two games i already own (Puppeteer, Everybody's Golf, both great games!)
One game i'm not interested in (Payday 2)

All in all not a great month for me, but not a bad month either.

I hope the NA list is close to that..would at least like Stick It To the Man and Muramasa (I almost bought this a couple weeks ago..but then I found a cheapish copy of Disgaea 3 Vita)

Also...y'know I already own HSG/Everybody's Golf on cart...guess I could trade out for the digital version.

Isn't there a digital AC game on PS4? I quickly went through the store the other day but it started with Freedom...something. Could've been a DLC for AC4.

Your avatar makes me thirsty for GR2. Brb crying.

I really enjoyed playing Muramasa Rebirth, two characters to choose from, sword crafting, really beautiful art, fast paced 2D hack and slash.

No idea about Everybody's Golf though.

That's a vita game? Dayum

Yep, Muramasa is gorgeous.

I hope Kamitani and crew are still hard at work completing the last two Dlc.

Freedom Cry is the standalone DLC for AC4. Every Retail AAA game is on the PS4 store so at this point anything could be come a PS+ game.

I've got everything but Payday 2 which is a shame but they're all enjoyable titles so it's quite a good month for people that don't own them.

Muramasa's one of my most favorite action games of all time. If you can get over the constant backtracking using various swords with light/heavy playstyles and different specials becomes very enjoyable.

YES YES YES! A few days ago I was thinking that it would be awesome if Everybody's Golf showed up on Plus. Muramasa is also quite a good addition. Pretty good month for me :)

Honestly that gif doesn't do it justice. It's much more beautiful when you open it up on your Vita. Although I have to say Dragon's Crown is more detailed and artistically superior. I can't wait for the other two DLCs.

Yeah, I'm guessing Freedom Cry is not going to be on PS+, ever. I think Killzone will be up before AC.

Christ, I was about to buy Muramasa today. Dodged a bullet there!

EDIT: Puppeteer and Everybody's Golf too. First month in a while I've been happy.

The value of PS+ for the PS4 is pretty subpar ... :(

I don't know what people are actually expecting. It's still a new console. I wouldn't expect any serious game for at least 3-4 months.
Then you'll get Knack!

Vita games are great. I have Plus since it was introduced and when I get Vita 2000 I'm pretty sure I wont have to buy any game for a very long time.

Oh, and Pupeteer is nice too :)

I hear Knack is a good dancer.

You know, if I had no idea what Knack was and saw that gif then I'd think it was from an upcoming animated movie. Not because of the quality of the model but because of the fact that animated films really like having the characters dancing

I am afraid ps4 will always get indie games as the free game. it's possible.
Sony can say you pay for the online subscription and not free games. just be happy you get some games at all.
if I had not bought a ps vita with my ps4 my ps+ was canceled months ago.
i hope i am wrong.

I'm really starting to dislike these PS+ threads. The post quality in them is not what I expect from NeoGAF, especially from our non-juniors. I'm not saying you need to like every game but dismissing titles without even trying them or on the basis that it's an indie game is infuriating and disgraceful. When it comes down to it, I'd prefer to get a new game that I don't own rather than an old game that I might own. Some people want older big titles but then others complain about already owning what's on PS+. Pick one problem to solve right now, you can't have both for PS4.

Now, on the content itself, fantastic month. I long ago put Stick It To The Man in my scientific trial where I never buy it until it's either $2.50 or free on PS+. It's been educational tracing it's price downward over the last 5 months and now it's on PS4 PS+. It has an Adventure Time writer on it so it has a good sense of humor and the game will benefit being on PS4, probably getting rid of any jank it previously had. Puppeteer, welp, I'm glad more people get to play Puppeteer, but I'm not happy people will buy less games since they think they can predict everything now. Even though they can't. But I suppose Puppeteer was always picked to be doomed to PS+ after the people decided that it would be. Murumasa is a game I've always been interested in but never enough to pay for. Hope US PS+ gets that too. Everybody's Golf had been a looooooong time coming. I already own it, but bring able to play it digitally serves it well.

Muramasa??? I'm dusting off the Vita and charging the battery now in preparation.

Also, Everybody's Golf to counter Mario Golf release on 3DS.

Imagine if Guilty Gear is the first PS4 big game. That game is still coming out this year right?

Yeah for Japan, we'll know the US release date at E3.

I don't understand why so many people keep saying this. The console came out in November and people are actively buying retail games right now. There's such a small amount of retail games to put on PS+ as well. Did you expect AC4, COD, BF, and inFamous to be on PS+ already?

There's 12 months in a year. If you for some stupid reason put "indie games" into one genre or don't care about a game because of it's budget/marketing campaign regardless of the quality or amount of content, then you'll get at least 2 "AAA" games to justify the $30-50 dollars you used to pay for the subscription.

I'll take Muramasa thank you. Was a game that I was keeping an eye on and would have looked into and possibly bought once I caught up on my Vita backlog.

Does it have DLC? If I get a game free on PS+ that I quite enjoy, I'm more inclined to buy extra story/mission Dlc to give something to the devs
