May PS plus games for EU

Already own Puppeteer, Muramasa and Everybody's Golf, blaaaaaah. :(

Puppeteer is amazing though, and I'm glad people get to play it.

I just wish the PS+ games would have some multiplayer component to them. I know mercenaries does but its so shitty coop like darksouls where you have to be in the game and do something to throw invite out instead of just invite when you want.

How is Stick it to the Man? I was about to buy it for Vita but in the end, I didn't. Also, I haven't liked any of the PS+ offerings except for Outlast and Don't Starve, but is better than nothing. I have to pay for it to play Battlefield 4 and COD Ghosts anyway, so whatever.

Resogun and Dead Nation both have co-op.

Sweet but...
I already have every single One of these games... Save stick to the man, and i've never heard of this game
Still nice, but meh

Wow PS4+ really does suck a big fat one. Resogun was a one off apparently.

Been hoping for dragons crown on vita for a long time now, seems that valuable games there are now few and far between.

Basically PS3 is saving the service at the moment, hated the puppeteer demo but will try it out for longer. Not into multiplayer games but had a laugh with payday from plus before.

Another disappointing month all in all.

Has US already gotten Payday 2?
Hopefully Puppetter isn't the free game for US. It'd be really lame if PS Plus started overlapping with other PS services.

Why would that be lame? 99% of PS+ users only have the service in one of the regions. I really hope Puppeteer IS a PS+ game in North America. That game looks great.

Think I'll be cancelling my PS4+ until Destiny is due.

Understandable. If you're not into the indies (or playing any current games online), it probably makes sense to cancel for a while.

I'm personally very happy overall with the PS4's PS+ games since November.

I LOVED Resogun. Since I only paid $35 for my PS+ subscription, Resogun plus the ability to play games online makes my annual subscription justified on PS4. So everything after that is a bonus in my books.

I enjoyed Contrast; it certainly wasn't great, but I had some fun. So I'm happy with that inclusion. I didn't like Don't Starve at all - total dud for me. Then along came Outlast. I LOVED that game. It was my favorite horror game of all time. That game combined with being able to play online would probably merit my entire subscription for the year. Resogun plus Outlast makes the PS+ year AWESOME for me. I didn't like either Dead Nation or Mercenary Kings at all, but that's OK. Stick it to the Man looks interesting. I expect to enjoy it on a similar level as Contrast, which I'd be very pleased with after a couple disappointing months in a row.

Oh, and the PS3 offerings have been awesome (on a whole other level thanks to the huge library of games to choose from). If you have a PS4 AND PS3, getting PS+ is a no-brainer.

Wow PS4+ really does suck a big fat one. Resogun was a one off apparently.

outlast and contrast were both great imo.

deadnation was ok as a co-op game.

merc. kings and don't starve weren't my cup of tea but a lot of people seemed to enjoy them.

You still really expect Sony to offer full priced games on the PS4? That is just wishful thinking.

sneaky fucks putting Muramasa on sale and then giving it away for free with Plus.

This is what they do. The smart thing for PS+ members is abstain from any PSN purchase unless it's something you just gotta have or it's 99 cents and you won't care if it ends up free.

You mean the website where every review thread for a big game is dozens of pages long?

Not to mention the reactions on this site to Uncharted 3 getting an 8/10 from Eurogamer?

Nowhere in his post mentions full priced retail games. he just says that he was disappointed with the PS4 game choices outside of Resogun. That could be implied as him saying that he wanted different indie games.

Muramasa?

Well, I played the wii version all the way through, I imagine it'll be even easier on a handheld!
If the DLC is put on sale (gosh, I'm a cheapskate given it's only £3.19 per character) I'll probably help myself to some of that too.

I agree with that advice. I only buy a game on PSN if it's a brand new release, has already been on PS+ (before I joined), or is SUPER cheap (under $5). Otherwise, I'm content to wait for the game to show up on PS+. Though, most games I end up playing on PS+ are games that weren't really on my radar before (but I end up loving them).

The 99 cent Flash Sale sale on PSN was amazing - definitely worth buying games when they're that cheap. I hope to see more of those sales!

I don't know if this has been said but I think you missed the opportunity to title this thread May the ps+ be with you .....

Bad joke I'm out
wooooosh....

it will play better on the vita. Aside from having a brand new localization, the is actually a jump button in the vita version instead of hitting up. (which for me was huge as I hated having up as my jump)

First month in a while I've not owned the Vita games (I have EG though), i'll probably sell my retail copy for £5 if I can get that much for it.

Good month though

It's interesting how the games with gold games get trashed for being crap yet when it's an indie game on ps+ no one can say the same without being shot down.

This isn't flame bait just an observation.

Stick it to the Man will be the first PS4+ game that I don't even bother downloading.

Not that the past three months have been very good in comparison. Dead Nation was an up-port that tons of people had for free on PS3 anyway. Mercenary Kings was plaged with issues and was disapointing to many, and Stick it to the man just looks blegh to me from the gameplay footage of the PC version.

They really have been dropping the ball with the PS4 stuff in my opinion. Other good games have been coming out in in march and april (and will in may) so it's not just a selection thing.

I'm happy about Puppeteer though, and it's great that more people will play Muramasa.

How about you take a look at it in a years' time and see if you've had $50s worth of games, and PS+ discounts, rather than complain month-to-month?

That's not even remotely interesting, or relevant.

You're going to have a meltdown then when the first retail-released PS+ game for PS4 ends up being Knack then, huh?
I really hope it isn't, though.

I feel bad now because I have been hoping for Knack for the last couple of months. I want to play it but I don't want to spend 69.99 CND on it...........

PS4 PS+ is meh... Resogun is great, Contrast was a good game after the patch, I really love Don't Starve but since then I haven't played any of the titles much. Outlast isn't my style, Dead Nation is ok and Mercenary Kings didn't click with me - I got killed from the start way too often by enemies hitting through flooring and I dislike the lack of 8-direction aiming. I love Towerfall and Octodad though so I'm a bit sad those weren't the PS+ titles instead.

PS4+ is like GWG. It's a free bonus for people who pay for on-line gaming. PS+ on Vita and PS3 you are only paying for free games so they are better.

Well it better not stay that way for long or I won't re-sub. I'm not playing online at all right now. Last time I tried, a couple weeks ago, I was teleporting all over the place in BF4 due to rubber-banding.

It's more of a "the console has only been out 6 months so all games would be less than 6 months old and cost too much to give away for free" Expect Knack or something at E3 and the first big 3rd party game in October, maybe AC4 to try and boost sales of AC5.

Wrong. The PS4 just launched in November and people are actively buying games right now. Go look at the amount of retail games available compared to the PS3/Vita. Do you think publishers are going to actually put up BF4, COD, inFamous, AC4, etc right now? We probably won't see the first retail game on there until E3 at the earliest.

With a library that's just starting up, I was perceptive enough to know PS+ on the PS4 isn't going to be as good as the PS3, unless they gave the newest retail games for free, or indie games like Octodad. It's good to have a little perspective, common sense, and realistic expectations.

I wonder if sony will go for the big splash and announce both knack and killzone for PS+ at e3 (and release them right away after e3) or if they will save them for later since the ps4 still doesn't seem to need a push to get people interested again.

The minus side of the splash would of course be that the game pool is so limited right now that it would be hard to remotely match that splash in the months after (though I expect something like tomb raider from e3 2015)

It is flame bait. Because your observation is wrong. The Xbox One doesn't have Games With Gold. Therefore, that aspect of these services is N/A and incomparable.

I didn't know Sony could just commander anyone's game by giving them money or that all those games where past certification and other complexities. If a developer doesn't want their game on PS+, Sony can't make them. Also, opinions. Or did you want Transistor for May? We'd be having this same conversation with different people if it was Octodad or MLB. Indie trash, I don't like Baseball, etc etc. I'm still impressed they did IGC with the PS4 at launch. There was precedent not to like with the Vita. Honestly, they'd probably have less complaints if they just didn't bother for the first 6 months.

I think Knack will be the first retail PS+ in June. I can't see them doing Killzone and Knack in the same month unless they add one of those games to the yearly PS+ games.

After June, there should be a lot of options since sales of near launch titles would be finished. I can see Injustice being July, Killzone being August, and Driveclub if it's out in September. Maybe Assassin Creed in October to hype people up for the new game? I'm pretty sure Thief will find it's way to the list this year lol.

I've played through the entirety of Stick it to the Man on Vita. It was charming enough (both the designs and characterizations reminded me of Psychonauts) but the gameplay itself amounted to nothing more than running fetch quests and terrible stealth sequences and would be hard-pressed to recommend it to anyone beyond the aesthetic novelty of the humor. You'll get just as much out of the game watching someone stream it on the PS4 than you would actually playing it. Probably less frustration as well.

i dont know what the people expect for 4 dollars at month..two vita games..one ps4 game two ps3 games

man..people are fucking entitled

yes. otherwise what am I paying for?
online play obviously :P

Knack would hands down be a yearly title if added in june.... I figure june is about right for the yearly IGC in general for the ps4 which is the only reason why killzone might be included (it would be to soon for infamous but there is always 2015)

again it's really a matter of how big of splash sony wants to make... with the vita all the big sony published games were launched with the IGC right away to try to make a big splash since it was struggling... The ps4 isn't exactly struggling outside of japan so a big splash isn't really needed. Given when the ps4 released in Japan though I could easily see them holding off the yearly IGC until they have a comfortable window for all areas to do it (so like Nov).

In general it will be interesting to see what sony does though... instead of being content they should be seriously focusing on getting as big of a lead as possible (I know that is hard to do with no place really having it in stock but you should try to make sure demand is always bigger than your supply while you can). It seems to be often forgotten that while initial sales aren't the end all, they are a big factor in what people who play a lot with friends buy... as if all of your friends have a ps4, what are you likely going to buy if you want to play with them.

Beyond all of that they have already said PS+ has grown a ton since the ps4 launched, which should mean more money for more "free" games so hopefully sony puts that money back into PS+ to really make it look like a great package if you only own a ps4 instead of only a great package if you own multiple sony systems.

is the ps4 offering supposed to be good?

didn't really dig mercenary kings or the starving game

I have it on Vita and it's pretty solid. Gameplay is far from great, but it has a great style and is pretty funny. Despite the meh gameplay I was entertained throughout. I agree on Mercenary Kings and Don't Starve being crappy by the way.
