Vampiro is the best

Mark Burnett is a smart man, slightconfuse. Studies have shown that millennials love passion and being part of a movement. Just like when Triple H hugs his contractors at NXT, it's very likely that "Vampiro walks across the hard camera in disbelief" is a part of their script in a planned effort to harness that energy.

Ain't coming back cause you liked it too much. Enjoy your new home, nerd.

Nooooooooo *is sucked into Imgur gallery hell*

Hey, if you like old Attitude Era gifs and creepshot gifs of girls getting pinned, imgur is your jam, apparently

I like Alexa Rage. Like a palette swap.

And "dat ass!"

If you had told me Carmella and Alexa were going to switch allegiances a few months ago, I would've called you crazy

If Lucha underground has a second season they got to look at the man vs women stuff because in this match Ivelisse getting punched in the face even its worked doesn't work at all these days.

Well, there aren't really a lot of girls in Lucha Underground to work with. And Ivelisse/Sexy Star are both really goddamn good. Don't think it's fair to handicap em.

Vacation tomorrow. I gotta get up at 4 AM for my damn cab. I blame FallingEdge. He's the real creeper

I actually feel bad that in many ways we've regressed from the Attitude era when it comes to men getting mixed up with women.

I'm not saying it was some glorious feminist paradise back then, quite the opposite, but shirking away from hitting someone just because they are a women is a step backwards.

It does work.
Why should women be treated as some kind of lesser being to only be appropriate to go after women's titles and always be second or even worse stand outside of the ring as eye candy.
The women in LU kick ass and stand toe to toe with the men, so if you are trying to pull the "oh no men are victimizing women" get that shit out of here real fast.

Do you think the fans should chant "she deserved it" while the male wrestlers are savagely brutalizing the women?

Why should a person's sex matter if they choose to mix it up in the squared circle? It doesn't.

Well, taste, for one. It's also unfair being that women are smaller then men. But I think the biggest reason is that we all know that pro wrestling fans are essentially gullible cretins, and I think the last thing the world needs is for wrestling fans to think that beating women is okay because "they deserved it."

Vanilla indie midgets are also smaller than men, is it unfair to D-Bry?

I think you are really coming off like a tool and a mark right now.
Sexy Star has had quite a few good storyline victories over men, both in LU and in AAA, as have many others and Ivelesse has had her share in LU of in ring action.
You are tainted A) by American Wrestling and B) by your own biases.
Women are smaller? You and people like you paint women as victims and then run in and cry about how unfairly they are treated when women themselves fight to not be seen that way.

I think you're right about the disconnect stemming from my primarily being rooted in American wrestling, whereas you the products you enjoy come from Mexico, where pro wrestling is second only to cockfighting in popularity.

Friends, this is why you don't want wrestlers to have sponsors:

WWE shirts look like gold compared to that shit.

And yet, no T-shirts WWE will ever do will ever be as good as Pride FC's T-shirts back in their prime. Hell Sakuraba's "39" T-shirt line from back then alone dominates pretty much all of WWE's designs. Wanderlei had some cool ones too. I burned a lot of cash ordering those shirts from a Japanese importer in those days...

I really wish I could find some collector's site that had all those old Pride T-shirt and poster designs archived. If anybody knows of one, PLEASE let me know.

Pride FC posters were also incredibly awesome.

If you've never perused their posters before, do yourself a favor and Google image search "Pride FC poster" and check out all the designs. SO GOOD. Some are quite bafflingly weird too.

....

Speaking of graphic designs in wrasslin' though... Inspire Pro has always had pretty awesome traditional matchups posters and online banner art for their events. But it looks like they're doing some one-off more graphic posters too. I haven't asked those guys, so I don't know if these are coming from their regular designer, or a new guy, or if these have something to do with their relationship with the Mondo poster community, but I quite like these for a bit of fun in addition to the regular, more informative "matches" posters:

I think I posted the official poster for this month's show early in this thread, but here's this new graphic one

...and here's a parody graphic for the upcoming "beach-themed" Clash at the Bash 2 show...

but this is the official logo for that event, AFAIK

Sasha wears that belt like it was made for her:

Seriously, it accessorizes her jacket well.

I seriously was just remarking to myself the other night how well-tailored Sasha's ring jacket was at the PPV. I mean, it fits her so well I actually NOTICED how well it when she was walking around ringside before the match.

Like a boss, indeed.

EDIT: (Sorry for the multiple posts in short order guys... just catching up after being away from the computer all day.)
