Yeah. I think I remember that.
But what I'd really like is a compilation of all the T-shirt designs too. If I knew Uncle Dana, I'd make that shit happen. You know they have a big file somewhere, probably on an old, rotting Iomega Zip or Jaz disc, with all that shit on it...
That stuff needs to be archived. Or hell, sell it in a "classics" shop and make some cash with the old Pride nostalgia crowd.

It took ages for me to adjust to it but after dozens of hours running Airport with a friend it clicked for me. He played a ton of it on PC over the years too, hilarious how often people would accuse him of cheating in the MP lol.
I remember being blown away at the new Airwalk animation, I was really into the company and skate videos in general at the time.

Yeah I loved THUG a lot more than I can understand. The story was great and the feeling of progression was fantastic.
THUG2 was a big disappointment in terms of tone and the general feel of your skater. It was the flipside to the gritty at times THUG. I still poured 100+ hours into THUG2 though, it still had great levels and mechanics at it's core. Same with THAW.
THPS5 is going to fucking suck. I can't see Robomodo shedding their heritage and doing a good back to basics arcade game. I'm actually INCREDIBLY shocked an indie hasn't ripped off the THPS2 formula wholesale and pushed something out on Steam yet. I still argue the market is there for the taking.
I was a huge fan of Skate 1 but had no idea that 2 & 3 came out until all the noise about how EA reprinted S3 because PewDiePie made it insanely popular. Skate 1 was really involved but in a good way, felt insanely good to pull of a great line. Most of my time spent on the game was just running sweet lines through the city for the fun of it. I guess there was nothing unique about the environments so I never even thought to look for a sequel, whereas with TH I was always interested in what cool music would be included and cool places to skate. I have zero recollection of any music in Skate 1 (or the 360 Tony Hawk games for that matter).

Don't the writers write the promos for them? Don't see how that would be her fault if they have her saying stupid shit.
I love that match. 5 stars and nothing but for me. That was also the first full New Japan show I ever watched, so it has that going for it too. I really liked the ceremony at the end and the shot of Ricochet holding up the trophy.

THUG had a great rags to riches story that was corny and video game-y, but had lots of charm. It's also bolstered by the fact that Eric Sparrow is basically the biggest piece of shit to ever live
Skate 1 introduced me to Funeral by Band of Horses, so I loved it. Man, that makes me think of soundtracks for games like Amped 2 which had like 4739485848 tracks across all genres. It introduced me to so many damn bands that I still listen to now! That's my damn teenage years right there.
