Not bad, but I think the Bullet Club shirt in the following clip is much nicer:

I went down my favorite rabbit hole. Twitter accounts of people replying to official WWE twitters and found people tweeting #RAWlternative while they talk about and watch Raw. Like in a campaign to get people to watch stuff other than WWE, the majority just think it's another WWE campaign. #Backfired

Quite the long weekend for me. My dog ate a corncob that got stuck in his GI tract. That cost me 3300 surgery and he has to stay in the emergency hospital for atleast another night. So that means time off from work and being stuck in the country with no internet or wrestling. Little fucker survived and is doing well so it could be worse.

Speaking of campaigns, the fat predator Bob Ryder says we should see a new TNA campaign this week. And I got to thinking...with all the lunatics on TNAAsylum, it wouldn't be a terrible idea for TNA to launch an IndieGoGo campaign to raise funds. I know pro wrestling fans (especially TNA fans) are poor as shit, but every little bit helps at this point.

Whenever someone posts the Raw Alternative match lists most of the indie names on it are so below my radar that I can't quite tell if its a joke or not.

Apparently on MLW they gave more details. Basically Dixie is upset that the network never touted their +3s or +7s or whatever even though they are fake numbers that don't matter. The internal email she went off on a rant about it and accidentally CC'd the President of Discovery and called him a dummy in the email. The following week they had a quarterly meeting with Destination America and Dixie no shows. Next thing you know the show is cancelled.

Wrassle-GAF, I recently purchased a Marvel Unlimited sub. I've fallen into the mean crowd of Comic-GAF. 60's Amazing Spider-Man is the absolute best, if only due to how dated it is.

I'm probably forgetting a few because I haven't watched much wrestling in the last month.

Keep in mind I stopped watching NOAH regularly a while back. Until they give Kenou, Harada, or Nakajima the strap.

Thanks for that gonna dive in soon

Spoiled myself on the outcome of KaneAustin at KoTR 98 so not feeling like watching it. Or is it THAT Undertaker Mankind match? I thought it was at a bigger event.

Yes, King of the Ring '98 is the Taker/Foley car wreck Hell in a Cell.

Austin vs. Kane was the shits. Austin had a pretty severe elbow injury at the time and Kane still hadn't quite settled into the role yet. Taker/Foley would have been shits as well had Foley not offered to kill himself. Taker had a broken heel going into the match and could barely do anything.

Can anyone tell me what I missed with Sandow?

He cut a promo on Raw mocking his past gimmicks basically saying he's being himself then had a really painful bit where he copied Axel, the next thing I saw was he's now Macho Mandow? I feel like I must have missed something in there somehow.

Did they realise that his actual persona is a little dull and they couldn't revert to his classy gimmick?

If you want to know why TNA has been shaky since its start, you need no further look than the link below.

I also remember when Scott Keith reviewed the first PPV and ended it with "Thumbs way down for TNA, Total Nonstop Ass."

He would later give other of their weekly PPV shows more positive comments but the first few shows were rough. 2003 especially when they hit their first anniversary was when they got better. They were never a promotion known for wrestling clinic matches ala ROH at that time and always known for picking up released guys from WWE from Dustin Rhodes to the late Mr. Perfect, Crash Holly, BG James, Syxx-Pac, and so forth. Hulk Hogan was supposed to come in sometime in 2003 but didn't want to job to Jarrett so after doing an angle where he took a guitar shot from Jarrett they never followed through.

All that said, I still enjoyed TNA from late 2002 (when Cablevision first got them) through the Fox Sports Net era in 2004 through the monthly PPV era towards the end of the year through the beginning of Spike TV in 2005 and finally just losing interest I forget when maybe 2008.

2005 was the closest thing TNA ever hads to a 'good year' and even that needed a lot of improvement across the board. And they couldn't ever go past that.

ROH is in the action figure business now:

Ring of Honor and Figures Toy Company will have an announcement later this week regarding the first set of Ring of Honor action figures. This line will feature the current roster and throwback figures of top names from the past. There are two other toy lines, a Legend line featuring stars of the past and a new line featuring top free agents today. There are about a dozen major names who have signed on and some names will be out in upcoming days. Cliff Compton will be one of the modern indie stars featured.

Anyone here going to buy a Cliff Compton action figure?
