His NXT gear was just kind of simple....he looked like a dude there for a fight.

The marketing group probably thought it was too close to Dean Ambrose street gear though and decided to go in a different direction. After watching NXT, they saw how popular Fight Owens Fight had become and went that way because if a wrestler has a chant...bah gawd he's got a connection with the crowd.

They've had NXT invade twice since it was a thing.

One ended with Cena destroying them all, and the other had their invasion debut go 10 minutes, Alex Riley attacking his own co-invaders, and Cole spending the whole time burying how stupid and overly long it all was before it was completely retconned out of existence and they all became jobbers.

They need to not do NXT invasions ever again.

I don't think this is that.

I think this has been more NXT guys getting opportunities on the main roster while they're still a part of NXT.

They're experimenting more with bringing these guys up in a part time capacity to both A) promote these wrestlers who will one day be features on Raw and B) promote the NXT show and at the same time, the network.

They're finding new ways of getting the wrestlers we want to see on TV, and not diminishing their value by doing so.

I like that.

And if HHH booked them, they'd either do the same shit or be doing the same shit only with HHH and Steph leading them and opening each show with 15 minute promos (5 minutes gone because they're so polite they want the new guys closing with 15 minute promos, isn't that nice)

With Rhyno, Samoa Joe, and Brian Kendrick all getting different type of contracts with NXT/WWE, I hope WWE considers more part-timers for NXT to keep things exciting down there while they slowly bring up the top-tier talent to the main roster. Adding Bubba Ray and D-Von to the cast down there would be fun.

People were complaining when they said NXT would have monthly specials. No way do they have the roster to do a weekly show.

Just wait till Survivor Series, where Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Finn Balor, Prince Pretty, and Enzo Amore take on Big Show, Kane, RKO, Seth Rollins, and Dolph Ziggler in a winner gets the SuperShow match.

I just went to ROH TV tapings a couple of weeks ago. There was only one dark match and it was all low card talent. The rest was meant for TV.

This looks like a match they would want televised.
