They'll either go with Strong due to his buildup and awesome work with the New Japan guys, or they'll go with Moose since he's also kind of hot right now. Either way, I hope Jay Lethal beats Briscoe and has a good match against either Moose or Strong. Not Elgin.

Pretty excited for the ROH show June 5th even if the card is nothing but tag matches so far. I also won 1st row tix to a WWE house show and a meet n greet for my niece so we are doing that a week later. June is going to be an expensive month.

Make sure you tell the talent that unless they want to get worked back into a shoot they need to bring back New Jack style scaffold matches

No. Raw was shit last night.
Good thing I didn't have to look far for the answer to the classic question, I wont be getting near the TV for a while so its spoiler time.

Fortunately through the power of photography I can feel like I watched Raw by using last nights images in conjunction with my memories of the last few weeks.

Sometimes I think this show is on repeat.

Unfortunately it seems Lana is in fact a damn Hoeski

Barrett taking throwaway falls already, hey remember when I foolishly had hopes for his King run? heh, heh, yeeeaaaah....
Well at least I like THE BIG GUY as well.

Another fresh matchup from the WWE.
(also 2 Ziggler segments in one night? yeeeesh)

RAW_1148_Photo_169-95566369.jpg

Ryder looks as confused as I currently am that he seems to not only be having a match on Raw, but one that seems to go longer than three minutes.
So basically Ryder needs Cena for any notable TV time. (not pictured, some celeb BS)

RAW_1148_Photo_179-480840544.jpg

Okay so maybe I'll go back and watch this segment.

RAW_1148_Photo_186-193858110.jpg

Now I'm really glad I haven't heard Raw let alone seen it.

THE LUNATIC FRINGE MAGGLE DOING LOONY THINGS!

Whew, now I don't need to watch anything, got the full experience right here.

TNA news:
People in the company pissed that the company's said nothing outside of the generic statement regarding their fates. Dixie in Texas over the weekend, back now and having a meeting this noon, might finally address it internally. Emphasis on might.
Christy Hemme gave her notice, has "awesome" job opportunity not involving wrestling, doesn't need this shit.
Aries' deal is up next month, Slammiversary could be his last show (other Impacts airing after Slammiversary but those are being taped before Slammiversary, so he/Roode could still win the tag belts and lose them all before his deal ends and it'd still be treated like a full month-long reign)
Some in the company saying they heard about Dixie accidentally shittalking the president of DA to the president of DA in email in February, still no public comments expected on it because fucking lol why would you

Good stuff, heh. Barrett didn't even get an entrance last night on TV. Dead and berried.

Okay, that stings to know.
I suppose it would've made sense to expect even less than usual from a KotR than was whipped up over the previous weekend and effectively delivered as a renamed WWE Main Event show.
I think they may just have pulled Barrett's name out of a hat for this accolade.

At least it's hard to bugger up an Elimination Chamber event, well unless it's December to Dismember.

It's called fish or cut bait and let me tell you something brother, if Wade is the fish hooked on the line then they need to cut the bait before this fish gets reeled in cause you can only work a man so long before you need to shoot and right now they've given him his shots and he hasn't shot a work for more than a few months at a time so it's time to get this jabroni his walking papers so he can go and shoot a shoot.

So, Owens getting the best of Cena two weeks in a row pretty much means he'll lose right? I really doubt WWE will do the right thing when it comes to this.

Best part of Raw was, hands down, the Lana and Rusev segment. Such a good back and forth.

Rest of the show was more of the same.

Depends on if you think the developmental champion should get a win over the face of the company of the last 10 years with a 3 week long feud.

Personally, I don't consider that the right thing. The only thing I'd consider that a right thing is if Cena beats him and doesn't try to keep feuding with him.

Pro Wrestling Rule of Opposite Momentum in full effect.

I personally hope Owens just loses and that's the end of it. The worst case scenario is Owens winning at Elimination Chamber and then getting 3 months of Ls afterwards like what Rusev got.

The only right thing is to have Owens beat Cena clean to get people's hopes up, then have Reigns squash Owens the next night on Raw. The look on ISEC's collective faces will be priceless

Zayn seeing Dr. James Andrews today, rip :[

(For those who don't know, Andrews is seen by all people in sports and specializes in shoulder surgeries for the most part, but when he's seen by baseball players it means their shoulder's fucked and they're done for the year. If he gets surgery in June, that's probably it for him till at least December)

I do think that a guy that has been on top for 10 years and doesn't lose anything from taking a pin should do it for a dude that would benefit immensely for it, that has a ton of momentum and has the ability to be a top guy for your company in a couple of years.

Owens goes back to NXT for a little while and Cena goes back to his routine. But now when Owens actually debuts he has the big accolade to his name and can keep going full force.

In a scenario where Owns loses then yeah, let it just be EC and be done with it. Since he is NXT champion that will probably be it. Alt ought I don't think losing to Cena is that amazing thing that the WWE likes to say it is.

How unfortunate to reaggravate an injury right after your triumphant, well-executed Raw debut in which you had like a 2.5 star match despite the pain you must have been in. No way to capitalize on the momentum, no real way to keep your heat on the developmental show where you got famous in the first place. Zayn could be a big babyface underdog for them, the Mick Foley to Rollins' Triple H perhaps, but you have to wonder if Vince just sees D.Bry 2.0 and don't wanna risk putting money into someone with so much mileage.

In Vince's mind, someone going more than 2 minutes with Cena means Cena "put that guy over". Cena going into Super Mode and basically no-selling everything in order to get a clean AA win doesn't matter.

Yup, it's one of the booking tropes that annoys me the most currently. The idea that just being on the ring with Cena will elevate you no matter how the match goes.

Man,how did I miss sign ups for death match reviews
If I fail to follow through on mine feel free to take it, my mood is ever shifting right now and I was a lot more jolly when I originally planned to subject myself to the human trainwreck that is death match wrasslin.

It actually seems like they are dong a decent job with that. Ziggler and Lana both know the score. She's using him to piss off Rusev and Ziggler is perfectly fine playing that role.
This makes sense, but let us not forget that Ziggles old t shirt had the slogan of stealing the show and your girlfriend, he may be falling back to his nefarious ways!

And as Fox just pointed out the damn kleptomaniac also swipes clothes.

I don't know how I feel about Owen's new gear friends.

RAW_1148_Photo_179-480840544.jpg

I feel like it pushes the FIGHT OWENS FIGHT chant too much like Cena's promo last night.

Also, speaking of Cena's promo last night.....they totally forgot about how CM Punk got them to change the Cena sucks chant.

Owens' gear should be about his family. That "fight" gear is basically WWE-ified "see, he's a prize fighter because he has FIGHT all over him" watered down for the stupid kind of shit.
