McDonald's is going with Mac sauce for its newest premium sandwich, the Bacon Clubhouse.

Along with Big Mac special sauce, the burger comes with either a quarter pound beef patty or grilled or crispy chicken, thick-cut Applewood-smoked bacon, caramelized grilled onions, white processed cheddar, leaf lettuce, and tomato on a shiny egg-washed artisan roll.

While already available in some markets, the Bacon Clubhouse is set to launch nationwide on Monday, March 10, 2014.

Some of you might remember the burger from last year when it was being tested out in Florida.

I can't *believe* these lazy developers keep making file sizes so damn large. Btw, how does technology work?
Dat sodium.

Also, didn't McDs just admit to having too many new things on it's menu?

Looks like they're using the quarter pound patties. Yuck. McDonald's burgers are dry and mealy. Can't understand the appeal.

So, when does that bacon shortage kick in? Dang fast food restaurants are going to speed us to that cliff :-( Of course if the bacon shortage isn't going to actually happen, I guess we can blissfully add it to everything under the sun. :-D

I see no way this will be anything but nasty. I might buy one our of curiosity, and then regret it immediately after the food settles like I do anytime after eating mcdonalds.

I'll buy it. probably the chicken version.

We shall see.

BTW... if you have even a passing interest in McD's food you should get the McD app on your phone, iv'e gotten some great deals through it. like $2 quarter pounders, or Buy 1 Get 1 Free deals, etc. It's their official App.

Ugh why don't they have a non burger version of this. The beef/chicken patty just ruins it. A clubhouse needs turkey...

Its about time McDonalds branched out their big mac sauce to other items. Probably a response to Burger King's new Big King and Big Fish sandwich that both has "Kings sauce" ( Big Mac Sauce Knock off )

i've been eating good for awhile. tempted to try the chicken one. but i;m still mad they got rid of their premium anus burgers.

daily maximum is always an odd thing because its quite hard not going over it if you eat anything outside lol

It's hard to go under it even if you make everything yourself. 1.5 grams is nothing. Here in Finland the average men eat is around 10 grams a day.

I don't eat McD but on the subject of sodium I've given up trying to stay under the daily maximum. It's just impossible, I probably break it just making eggs for breakfast in the morning.

They already have this burger at my McDonald's so I went ahead and took one for the team and got one. Surprisingly, the one I got looked just like the picture, wasn't smushed down one bit and they put a lot of big mac sauce on it. It's not very car friendly as it's messy to eat; hard to keep the burger together in your hands. It's a so so burger; I don't like the bun and I don't really like big macs. I'm a quarter pounder dude so my opinion on its taste my be skewed.
