They still sell these? Or are they now part of the secret McDonald's menu?

They still have regular hamburger/cheeseburger.

I usually get the 2 cheeseburger meal, and they still use them in happy meals I think. I vastly prefer McD's skinny beef patties to the quarter pound ones.

Go even simpler:

Get rid of the "Nice chicken sandwich", salad, and cookies. Get rid of the shakes and tea.

Oh and... you left out the McNuggets. That's not good.

I could go for all of that, too. Kids like the cookies though, can't believe I forgot McNuggets!

I think comparing McDonalds with In-N-Out really shows the intellectual and moral bankruptcy of modern big business in America. McDonald's gives their customer garbage food at relatively high prices while paying their employees shit. Privately owned In-N-Out provides amazing tasting fresh food at a great price while paying their employees well above McDonalds. If In-N-Out were publicly traded they would be beaten over the head by Wall Street to expand the number of locations, cut costs and generally fuck up their business in the long term to extract short term profits. McDonalds is everything that is wrong with Wall Street driven corporate America. I'm glad they are failing. As for the topic, I had the new Maple Bacon burger, got a coupon for it the mail, it was just ok at best.

I am not sure Mcdonald has an easy out of their situation.

While McDonald's is slowly imploding we see Burger King having record growth. Burger King is a step up in general quality wise but not to some amazing degree that makes an 8 dollar combo meal at burger king much easier to accept than an 8 dollar combo meal at McDonald's.

The one thing burger king does do is change up their sales and offer coupons etc but I cant see that being enough to drive the big uptick in sales they are seeing though it might do McDonald's some good to start couponing a bit
The coupons are huuuuuuuge. McDonalds aren't willing to go there yet.

Stop bringing your guacamole imitations to San Diego, food companies. We don't want you here, we don't find you interesting.

I just want them to serve the egg from McMuffins on a burger like I got when I was in Tokyo a few years ago. Now that they serve breakfast all day surely this will happen?

Edit: Found it, the "Tsukimi Burger":

They've gone there.

In Canada (Toronto at least) we get a stack of McDonalds coupons like clockwork in the mail once a month, about 20 or so coupons ... Two can dine for 10.49 (regular combos), one can dine for 5.48, breakfast coupons, etc. Its literally a monthly thing with all the chains to the point I always carry a stash of bk, a&w, KFC, and McDonalds coupons with me when going out for the day.
