Media Create Sales: 11/17 - 11/24

1. NDSi: 85.254
2. PSP: 62.978
6. NDS Lite: 8.480
PSP is hanging just high enough to keep the 2008 battle undecided until the end.
Was there ever a year of two top selling systems this close before?

Yeah, PSP HW sales are still great though.
Ok, i was just wondering, thanks for the answer :) I dont know how many of these PSP games that are system sellers though (atleast looking at the general market, some of these games might be system seller for some people :)), so even if there are 5 PSP games in the top 10 it might not have boosted the PSP hardware sales that much. Or maybe that Gundam game is/was a system seller, but this is Gundam's 2nd week of sales (or is it the 3rd week of sales for Gundam?), so maybe most people bought a PSP for this game in the 1st week of sales, if the game is a system seller that is :)

Considering the 18K first day, that's not at all surprising.

Too bad the PSP's success in Japan hasn't carried over to America yet. A real shame, a lot of great games aren't getting attention over here.

It's pretty amazing- the PSP has new games announced for Japan every week it seems, and then I look at the U.S calendar and it's basically empty.

Ok, that Wii hardware number makes more sense.

Why are Wii MC numbers that high?
The gamefront numbers are off, the original Famitsu posting that looked like a prediction was probably the real one.

There's no way the disparity can be that huge.

And once again that old Sales Age adage is proven true- never trust numbers from Europe

Because it's not a high budgeted game with no ads at all!! =A nintendo fan would say :p

No but seriously, while it didn't sell well, Marvelous didn't have high expectations for the game on their latest report. They were expecting about 50k+ LTD though, will it make it?

#13 is still 30K. This is a fairly high week for software sales, so depending on its rank, it could've still sold well enough to put 50K within reach.

You should be able to. The site has proven pretty reliable over the past few weeks.

But what is the reason for the Wii bump? I just wonder.

Holiday sales starting to ramp up, I would guess.

Are these Famitsu or M-create?

I don't think MMV needs a major seller to be happy.

Look at NMH, that game bombed in Japan, but did pretty well in the UK, and proabably well enough in NA.

Rising Star was glowing with praise for its sales, and I doubt it was like a million seller... was it?

Besides, it obviously made MMV happy if we're getting a sequel!

As long as they see nice numbers and meet, or even pass their expectations, I don't think we have anything to worry about! :)

Besides, Rune Factory Frontier may do even better overseas! :D

EDIT: Why excuse me, I think "praise" would be a major understatement:

"We are weeping with delight. Especially as sales should improve further with the TV campaign moving up a gear from tonight. It is a verification of all the posturing and ambitious claims made these past months. I think a 'told you so' would be apt at some point. Thanks to Nintendo and the Wii console. Thanks to Mastertronic for their sales efforts and all our retail partners. Most of all thanks to Grasshopper for the greatest of products"

WOW! :lol

So AC and CT look to be falling somewhere between 175k and 64k then… what were the second weeks for AC:WW and AC on the ‘Cube like? I’d be interested to see where the Wii entry is heading.
Here are the first few weeks of the post-N64 Animal Crossing games.
400

662 is GCN. 1192 is e+ for GCN. 95 is WW.

Seeing them in a day-based image like that makes me notice they weren't available for the same number of days on their first weeks. Rather than the normal Thursday release, it appears GCN AC and AC e+ were Friday releases, while Wild World was a Wednesday release.

PS2 and GBA were fairly close a few times; I think this is the closest of this century:
