I asked if DS was in the lead for the year so I'm obviously interested in knowing how far in the lead it is, I was just curious though, no need for arguments. You thought I was talking about PSP? I heard Japanese gamers prefer their games to be on the easy side, and Grandia 3 is excessively hard, so that might account for it.

Yes, as someone has said. The DS has passed the PS2. It passed it some time in early July I believe.

Actually, the game's pretty sucky. Have a look in the official Grandia III thread
Poor story, poor voice acting, short game overall, and some pretty bad balancing in the battles. It looks good though

If that Pokemon XD number includes the one bundled with the system, and the system level is THAT LOW compared to the total units sold.... woa.

Nintendo could GIVE AWAY Gamecubes and Japan isn't going to take them.
It didn't help boost hardware sales at all!

I hope they werne't expecting any boost in sales this holiday season!
Especially now that Zelda isn't going to make it, the system is going to go from dying to dead lightning-style.
