About GT5. What are the expectations for this game? My opinion is that the fall of the series will continue. Not a huge drop from GT4 but after seeing what Gran Turismo Portable did (we are talking about PSP and Japan here, where some shit games have sold much more) I don't expect it to fire up the charts. thing is, PS3 slim right now is truly the console's 2nd chance, a 2nd life. Sony must be very thankful with the japanese for actually giving the console another chance.
Do know of any other console that had this kind of comeback? I remember the saturn getting a 2nd breath as well but not sure if that counts as a comeback.

If you are referring to its release in Japan before it got they attached the Mario brand for the US market, then I can't tell you. Numbers from that far back are pretty hard to find.

Zelda and Galaxy 2 along with WiiRelax will be the heavy hitters. Right now NCL's board of directors do a synchronized facepalm that they didn't release a new 2D Mario during the GameCube era. 2D games never lost their popularity on Nintendo systems, Nintendo just stopped making them for consoles for some reason(The Stamper brothers and Takeda circle jerking about SGi workstations during those meetings perhaps?).:lolschuelma said:
