Imho, KH and Dinasty warriors will be crucial titles for Nintendo and the 3DS perception in terms of male-teenager target, to be able to steal this part of target from Sony.
Way more important than Kid icarus

Preorders started later than for the previous titles + lower installed base + plenty of games in the same periods.

In an interview that was posted to Nikkei Trendy today, Namco Bandai CEO Shin Unozawa said that the PS3 crossover title has topped the 900,000 mark as of March 15. This figure includes Japan and Asia.

Unozawa also spoke about Namco Bandai's sales success for older titles. Dark Souls has crossed the 1.6 million mark worldwide. This includes the game's 400,000 Japanese domestic sales (in Japan, the game is published through From Software).

Tales of Xillia topped 760,000 units while Gundam Extreme sold around 600,000 units. Said Unozawa, the PS3 market isn't as strong as the PS2 was back in its day, but the system has established itself.

Namco Bandai titles tend to sell well in Asia.

game might be absolutely outstanding but there's a strong wiff of over expectation. I doubt many of the 3DS user base give a shit.

I keep getting error.

It's in there, but not all of it. The source I used for hardware went back a bit before Dreamcast's launch, but there were some data gaps in 1999 so I just started the database from 2000 on when everything was sure to be a full picture. By the time the Media Create data starts there's no Dreamcast, though.

Here's all the pre-2000 stuff. The places where it says 2WEEK1 means it's the first week of one of the times where they only gave a combined two-week hardware number.
