Weren't Namco hoping for 250K LTD? Was that a worldwide target?

Mixing trackers its even more creepy: Eternia did 74,630 by Famitsu and Abyss does 74,173 by MC. Also Eternia did those 250k Namco is dreaming about again, thus their sales expectations. It shipped 398k worldwide too (without a NA release).Spiegel said:Before anyone asks, Tales of Eternia PSP (first Tales port on psp, released three months after launch) sold 80.650 units.
After that game, Namco only released more ports, the RM subseries and Versus.

What is the difference between the models? I heard about the different fan size (80mm VS 120mm), but how much more noisy is it? There are some other differences as well (like the lack of those 2 LED lights), but i cant think of anything else than the fan that would be a selling point.BKK said:Maybe if people are buying up the superior older models before they go out of stock.
I now assume that was just a mistake, but because of the Evangelion "3nd" game and the proliferation of SF4 versions I actually checked whether there was one called "4rd". I wouldn't put it past them.Kurosaki Ichigo said:EDIT: Just adding that new releases are doing great lately, just this week we have good numbers for Abyss, 4rd SSFIV iteration, ToHeart spinoff, Goldeneye, Comfort 3rd title ever...
lol was going to say 3rd but then remembered the 3DS version and thought oh well that's also SFIV it could count...but forgot to change the suffixDurante said:I now assume that was just a mistake, but because of the Evangelion "3nd" game and the proliferation of SF4 versions I actually checked whether there was one called "4rd". I imagine the gap will grow wider in the future, since Little Battlers will probably have better legs (due to the cartoon).slaughterking said:Pretty remarkable how close OoT and the Little Battlers are always tracking.

Well, hopefully they were talking world wide.KoT: Tales of the Abyss 3DS was released two days ago in Japan. How many copies do you expect to sell?
Yoshizumi: Well, I'd say 250 000 copies. We also hope we will be able to release more Tales games on 3DS.
Hmm, interesting.Kurosaki Ichigo said:Mixing trackers its even more creepy: Eternia did 74,630 by Famitsu and Abyss does 74,173 by MC. Also Eternia did those 250k Namco is dreaming about again, thus their sales expectations. It shipped 398k worldwide too (without a NA release).
PSP got the Narikiri Dungeon remake at last, but seems clear to assume that if Abyss does as well as Eternia Namco will put up more ports until sales dry up.

250k was adding the budget release too though, right? I thought full price Eternia only did 200k?Kurosaki Ichigo said:Mixing trackers its even more creepy: Eternia did 74,630 by Famitsu and Abyss does 74,173 by MC. By Famitsu (like Mpl90 posted) yes, although there's quite a discrepancy with MC which had it at:lunchwithyuzo said:250k was adding the budget release too though, right? I thought full price Eternia only did 200k?
