No it's not it's a re release, like saying a goty edition is new.
A small research can make things clear.
edit: or not
What are you talking about, this game came out on PS4 long time ago...all this "new" one is a deluxe edition.

I understood that reference.gifßig;247423226 said:Whenever I visit these threads the Switch version of a third party game outsells the PS4 one.
I see no lies here.
The game never released on PS4 before, just like Switch. It's as much "new" on both platform. Otherwise, it's just a port of a PS3/Wii U port of a 3DS game that wasn't very good anyway.

Do we have Splatoon v Splatoon 2 direct comparison numbers?

Both
MC all day baby
I can see mhs severely bombing in the west. Whoever chose this over mhxx to localize must be high.
Who said anything about "mostly sales from a new audience"? Only the most hardcore players. double dip again for the same game 6 months later.... Assuming they even own a Switch.
Most people interested in this game already bought and played it on 3DS. A relatively small portion of that audience is willing to double dip again.
Late is almost an understatement lolSwitch third party is saved ! But, horrible numbers for both. But kind of expected since is a late port.
Very low sell-through percentage for Monster Hunter Double Cross: Nintendo Switch Ver.
Also, I don't know why Bandai Namco bothered to re-release once again One Piece: Unlimited World Red - Deluxe Edition, the original game already had a poor reception. At that time the ports espcially for PlayStation 3 made sense for the Western markets, but now?

The Nintendo 3DS version of Dragon Quest XI is practically having the exact same weekly percentage drops as the PlayStation 4 version, there is an overall 5 percent difference just because of the second week sales. Originally I would have expected the Nintendo 3DS version to show better legs, especially during the last 2 - 3 weeks.
Yep, DQXI is dropping faster than I thought. Maybe it stays longer in the 5 digits than the PS4 version but 2 million is getting more difficult each day passed and 2.5 million seems like a utopia.
Any news regarding Ace Attorney 2 reaching the bomba bins? That sell-through is not nice (neither is the one for MHXXHD but I think it still could sell it).
Jesus insane how Splatoon is like super big in Japan. Splatoon 1 already was but 2 takes it to another level. Wich is cool especially for a shooter like game.
Wonder what the final 2017 Splatoon 2 sales will be, i am sure it will surpass that Splatoon 1 2015 number by quite alot easily.

Anyone else thinking the Animal Crossing mobile game will be revealed at Apple's iPhone event like last year with Super Mario Run?
Just thinking about how it still hasn't been revealed, there's also TGS since that's about Smartphone games now but Nintendo doesn't appear there.
Fuck I hope not. Hate Apple exclusives. Android for life.
Quality is one of the less used factors for game performance in these threads since forever. Franchises must perform the same as last game at the minimum , no matter how many factors work against it, and even if they do you can always play the xx increased dev costs to call it a bomba anyway.

Nah. Animal Crossing is not as huge as Mario so i cant see it happen on Apple Event. I do think, Nintendo Direct for Animal Crossing is probably the biggest bet there.
If it's like the Fire Emblem Direct they could even announce another AC game with it.
