Hmm... if that's the case, then either the 300k shipment is not accurate, or MHS ended up selling way better than expected.

So Monster Hunter Stories was the number one selling game on the 3DS eShop last week. This doesn't necessarily mean much as there's not much competition other than the Pocket Monsters Virtual Console games and The Battle Cats which all released aeons ago. The game has 80 5⭐️ reviews on the eShop. Kobito Game Taizen has just 1 review and a round 0 Miiverse entries. Now that has definitively bombed.
The first game did remarkably well. The second game bombed incredibly hard. This one looks like taking over Rabbids Land. And Kobito bombing is damn shame.T_T Isn't last time, the game actually does well and had quite some legs?
Cross-media, kids product, incoming end of the year holidays. Theoretically it should have. If it actually has is another story.Even if MHS' sell first week sell through is good, what's the outlook on it having decent legs?

What I understand from here is that the sell-through is not bad. Remember that YSO predicted 75-85k FW, that would mean a 25-30% sell-through going by the 300k shipment. Quite terrible.
At the end it seems the game sold better than this, and can be considerate a good sell-through, so I expect over >40%.

Well, this is just my opinion, but when I hear "good sell-through ratio", I think something around 60%. And 60% of 300k is quite better than expectations, hence my comments.
Anyway, given early sales "data"/impressions, I guess 100k for the first two days is definitely possible.
The drama with Monster Hunter Stories in this and last thread is something else.
If the game bombs expect some missing folks coming back next weeks asking again for Monster Hunter on Vita/PS4 ;D
