That 3DS shipment probably means they FINALLY stopped having such huge amounts of consoles on the shelves last quarter. This is important.

Looks to be so much better for Nintendo when compared last year. That huge reduction in operating loss shows stronger performance as compared to last year's. Should be interesting to see if they can make a net operating profit for the rest of the year with N3DS release and the baggage of Wii U's loss reduced.

There's a question about Hyrule Warriors' performance, where they answer that they can't outright say if it has surpassed the 500k goal because Nintendo is responsible for overseas publishing, but they mention Japanese sales were in line with what was expected but overseas sales are above expectations, so much so they can even hope for even higher sales outside Japan due to more shipments in the second half of the fiscal year.

good to know about Zelda Musou. I like the game, I hope for a sequel. And if the partnerships succeeds, maybe we could hope to see also a Fire Emblem mosou (Nintendo is open to FE partnership, if FE x SMT is real, while Koei is open to other cross activities, as DQHeroes testifies)

do you believe wii u won't sell 320k before the end of January to let MK8 becoming milion seller? Maybe even before the end of the year, it's clear that this winter holiday Nintendo is pushing Wii U (Smash, MK8 bundle, Amiboo) and not 3DS (Level 5 says thank you)

And still I believe that the N3DS launch and Smash 3DS version, and Pokemon still only on 3DS will overshadow the Wii U a lot, so Nintendo is overshadowing itself LOL

Monster Hunter 3G shipments in Japan must be around 1,6 million (budget version is not included) so that's around 900.000 units in the West.

Monster Hunter 3 shipped 1,9 million units worldwide, going by Famitsu or Media Create its Japanese shipments were around 1,1 million. At most, its western sales didn't exceed 800.000 units.

P.S. Japanese numbers will be up in just 15 minutes.

By the way, now I remember that Capcom expects Monster Hunter 4G to shift 3,9 million units during this fiscal year. At this point, I can't see it getting past 3 million in Japan and that's assuming that it will receive a big push during this holiday season. To meet their forecast, Capcom will need to nearly ship a million units in the West, this is starting to look unlikely.
