Cool, thanks! (I don't know any of the timezones you posted but I expect to see the numbers tomorrow hahaha).
Dengeki is the only tracker that counts the games separated right? (for Pokemon, Yokai and co.) What happened in the end with the Dengeki numbers by the way?

Nintendo will be happy seeing the Pro struggle. Sony have increased the cost and difficulty for Japanese Devs bringing games to the Sony platform by creating two systems and a very top down policy on support. If most in Japan do not have a Pro and your game is targeted to the domestic audience then why would you not go to the system that is easiest to develop for.
Especially when most PS4 owners are likely 3DS owners who Nintendo will be looking to bring on board with the Switch. Seems to me the market will go even more extremely to handheld.
It's interesting the bigger gap of this entry compared to the last two on 3DS (I guess more casual gamers, that don't tend to pre-order, bought it directely on stores).
I wonder if that means bigger following weeks as well.
Pro was never aimed at the Japanese audience. It was done to capitalise on the audience that desired greater hardware power, which is primarily the West. I think you fail to realise that one of the biggest reasons PS4 gets such good Japanese support is due to its global success.
Rakuten Books Sales Ranking (2016.11.24)
03./03. [PSV] SD Gundam G Generation Genesis <SLG> (Bandai Namco)
06./00. [PSV] Code: Realize - Shukufuku no Mirai <ADV> (Idea Factory)
08./06. [PSV] Samurai Warriors: Sanada Maru <ACT> (Koei Tecmo)
09./00. [PSV] Code: Realize - Shukufuku no Mirai (Limited Edition) <ADV> (Idea Factory)
05./04. [PSV] Saga Scarlet Grace <RPG> (Square Enix)
Rakuten knows whats up!
Though, are you sure that's the right version of Samurai Warriors? Seems unbelievable that the Vita version would be doing better than PS4.
Yeah, I thought so also, but PSV version is #33 in the overall daily ranking, and PS4 version is #85 in the overall daily ranking. What is interesting though, is that if you see the weekly ranking, where they charted as pre-orders, PS4 is higher. So, it seems PSV had less pre-orders but a better first day sales and better legs. But at the end of the day, it depends on how much stock Rakuten handles, so I don't think it's very representative.
I wasn't going to include Final Fantasy XV because we already predicted for its first week sales and it is a game that will be very frontloaded. But I decided to include it because it is the only big December title now that Yo-kai Watch series is in severe decline. Let's see how the 3rd version will perform this year compared to the 3rd version of Yo-kai Watch 2 which sold a whooping 1,72 million units in its first 2 weeks.

In a couple of days.Did we ever get the YSO forecast for FFXV?
For reference:
(Famitsu)
[PS4] Yakuza 6 (3 weeks) - 490.317 ----- [PS4 - PS3] Yakuza 0 (3 weeks) - 338.809
Hmm? Yakuza 5 perhaps?
At December and January there are the first big PS4 games with PS3 versions absent.
How well do you expect RE7 to do? I have a suspicion it'll be (bio)hazardous to Capcom's financials.
This is extremely anecdotal, but some of my friends seem to think it's a PSVR-only game. That will not help.
Second The Snack World 3DCG short debuting alongside third Yo-kai Watch movie on December 12th.

First one debuted alongside second YW movie last year.
Unless there's no change, anime series and mobile game are out in April, 3DS games in July. So unless there's a delay, January CoroCoro is when we will start getting concrete stuff for The Snack World.
FFXV will collapse
