I'm just going to post my reactions and fun facts in a separate post.

1. Momotaro's 345K is the best opening for a 3rd party title on Switch, beating DQ11S, which was the previous record holder
Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition (FW/LTD) 303.204 545.836

Monster Hunter Rise will likely top this next year. As you can see by the last 2 lines, this title is already pretty close to outselling the previous 2 titles on 3DS & Wii already... which were both pretty successful :O. Konami has also now sold at least 1 Million pieces of software on Switch at retail. Konami is now currently the 4th best third party supporter of Switch in Japan behind Bandai Namco, Square Enix, and Microsoft (e.g. Minecraft) in terms of software sales.

2. PS5 2nd week software sales.... are just bad. Hardware is still out of stock since Sony shipped so little.

3. Switch Sakuna is just completely out of stock (not even top 30)..... hopefully Marvelous can restock the game soon, although I'm guessing it's shifted sales to digital.

4. HW: Age of Calamity has already outsold the previous HW titles on Wii U, 3DS & Switch individually. Depending on the legs, there's a chance it outsells them combined though lol.

5. Animal Crossing has passed 6 million at retail. The last title to do that was NSMB on DS which took quite a while to get there. I think the fastest before was Pokemon G / S in 13 months? AC did it in 8 months and hasn't had its first holiday, plus there are digital sales... with digital I've heard it's likely the best selling title in JP already (previous record holder was Pokemon Red / Green at ~8M+, 2nd was Pokemon G / S at 7M+).
