Hey guys, Firefox user here. Just now I've gotten an unending stream of pop-ups that consist of a box titled "Messenger Service." It appears to be something built into Win XP, as my MSN Messenger is not logged in. Can anyone help me get rid of this crap? Or do I need a whole system scan for spyware? Thanks.

Yea, sounds like Windows Messenger.
Start > Run > "services.msc"... and look for the "Messenger" entry. Right click it and select "Properties". Click "Stop" to stop the service (stops it for the current windows session) and change the startup type to "disabled" (to ensure it doesn't startup the next time you reboot your computer). That'll do it.
