It makes you wonder, since most of us buy our games the legit way, if you are allowed to discuss emulating otherwise expensive as hell games that would ruin an otherwise impoverished (wo)man.
Doesn't matter. Most expensive and rare games are overrated anyway.
There is no need to mention how you aquired it.
Castlevania IV > Rondo.

 I never said I acquired any!

I just use a handy little thing everyone on the internet uses when it comes to those games.

Which ones, except for the usual? Personally I stopped collecting in recent times. So many that I do not have not just one or even two copies. This is not stealth brag (not impressive...) but saying I began wondering what's the point and if it's worth it when that time and money could be spent better. Now it's just dread thinking about getting rid of it all. Whenever that happens.

Compared to the classicvanias only. Agree that Symphony is the better game in general. Hard to consider it overrated despite the high praise. Blew our collective minds back then, not much like it at the time, including the influences.

Upgraded my PC this past Thursday right before the PS5 event and have had nothin' but shit sandwiches since. Did my third Windows 10 install today (this time completely, erased everything from every drive and install booted from USB) thus far seems to have fixed the issue I was having (constant suttering/hitches even just when watching YT) but sitting here watching Steam, Origin, Game Pass, EGS (etc etc etc) re-download a couple terabytes of the same games for third time in 5 days is painful (not literally, but whatever).

Been distracted, hard to keep up with all the gaming news and plethora of demos/unveils the last few days from all the streams.

After tonight I can hopefully get back to my full-time passive aggressive crying, thread title typo ridden, overall low tier shitposting ways.

Just the downloads of Japanese titles no one can ever buy because some people decided it was worth thousands despite it not being that rare in Japan.

I get that feeling too lately due to being jobless. I stupidly sold something cheaper because eBay sucks with suggestive pricing. However, I am trying to worth through my many games to see what is worth holding onto or not.

I bought it on Xbox and loved it, I even comoleted everything in it. I am of the opinion that it is good, but not 100s of pounds worth good.

Felt the same about Panzer Dragoon Saga and hoo boy....one SEGA fan site jumped down my throat for dare thinking such an epic game is overrated because it was only 10 hours long (seriously....the 4 discs only take up 13 hours and 3 hours of getting lost in one dungeon). The FMV takes up all the space honestly and could easily be fit onto 2 discs or even 1 if need be!

Kino is NOT a buzzword but a lifestyle
or Zoom zoom zoom
And a poom-poom, JUST SHAKE YA RUMP

I don't post so much in Gaming any more, so I'm just curious: what's the policy on piracy talk nowadays? More specifically retro stuff. Am I allowed to say I downloaded a pack of SNES ROMs?
The mods have only shaken a finger at me if I've ENCOURAGED piracy
Don't link to, or talk about your resources for getting your ISOs/ROMs and you should be fine IME

Just remember, we all have a friend we borrowed a game from, or maybe a family member
I mean I can't even tease you plebs for not being pirates, I've gotten a finger wag about that too

I find it a little cringey when someone responds with "Reported", just that one word and nothing else. For one, just because you can report something doesn't guarantee it will be actioned, and two, anyone can use the report button (using it doesn't make you brave or anything). It's not something you need to announce to the rest of the community. Plus it just breaks the flow of the discussion in a thread.

Reported

It's a power play. Not only trying to get the authorities to bend people to their will, but trying to instill shame and fear in the target. This could be done for personal reasons, but is more likely to be used as a tool of Resetera types that want to control all conversation.
