Ideally it reuses a lot of the elements and maps from the first 2 MGO games. If so it'll be my go to MP game for a long time. The fact they are including it is insane. Will be my go to MP rest of the year.

Not sure, someone posted that on r/metalgearsolid.Oh ????
Is this official?
Hope it's a full game, not just MGO being touted as the third thing, they've already teased it in previous trailer(s).
MGO teaser at the end is the absolute highlight of the show!
my brother in christ, its not that hard. it takes more patience than skill. Hell I remember you can even sneak on the end and hold him, or stun him, grab him. There are multiple ways to finish that boss fight.,I just found it overly difficult. I had friends that quit at that fight.
Although this trailer is called a "gameplay trailer" it's not really representative. It's kind of like using freecam in Counter Strike where all the imperfections will become a lot more evident.
There's plenty of actual gameplay footage on Youtube of the game where it holds up far better.
Still a little jank in places but it looks really good in normal play imo. They've done an amazing job integrating the new gameplay mechanics into the game and making it feel natural.
Plus it literally looks better than that pachinko version everyone wanted for years...
Thats from a year ago.
Who says its not downgraded by now?
By the way, everybody knows that a gameplay trailer doesn't have to use the HUD.
It's like everyone has gotten fucking stupid the past 5 years or something. Jesus christ. (not aimed at you just the clowns who are crying over no GTA gameplay for instance)
great postThat demo was playable by the public on both PS5 and PC at the Konami TGS '24 booth. It wouldn't make much sense for something to be downgraded which is already running well on real hardware.

Worst case scenario would be that the demo was really running on PCs with a DualSense plugged in and the PS5 version ends up being downgraded since the new trailer says it was captured on a PS5 Pro.
But I just don't see any downgrade. The intro shots have a lot of depth of field so you can't really judge much from them. The shots we can compare that are as like-for-like as possible look the same:

Same color grading, texture detail, model quality etc.

Everything looks the same to me. Models, lighting, same washed out fog effect obscuring the distant shadows, the raised black levels. These shots could follow each other in the same trailer and would not look out of place.

Some differences in color grading but water effects and textures are the same.

Focus on the texture details, look at the brick walls - basically the same.

Even with all the Youtube compression you see it looks the exact same.

Showing vegetation looks as good and the water drop effect is still in.
This shot looks as good as any environmental shot they've previously shown:

And i'll throw this shot in from the first official trailer one year ago, showing the game has always looked visually inconsistent:

GTA6 naysayers will all be proven wrong as soon as the gameplay trailer drops, just like they were proven wrong with GTAV and RDR2.
Im sorry I doubted youKiller8 I think you are correct.
The trailer is just either badly edited or I dunno very unflattering somehow
I already posted to their YT channel why didnt they recreate the old trailers but hey.. They might have to mention Kojima
