As i said in my earlier post, MGS is more than the story, and without Kojima directing the gamplay, it will absolute shit, especially with how Konami are now.

True. I suppose my reason for preferring an MG remake to MGS6 is the large difference in platforms. Sure it wouldn't be as stellar as MGS 3 or V but it would give people that never bothered with(or don't want to) the MSX titles some sort of chance to experience where it all begun for us.
But maybe I'm giving Konami too much credit, just because you're capable of remaking an old title on better, sophisticated hardware doesn't mean you'll necessarily do a good job. Lol

Sold my PS3 unfortunately I know it'd be impossible for it to happen. Part of me still holds onto hope lol! The HD versions were absolutely fantastic though.

If I see it at some retail store, that could be a different story, long as it isn't marked up or something silly. That close to release, I'll be avoiding the internet all together anyway, no point in paying all that extra.

Not necessarily, i only paid 40 pounds for MGS4, it can be online stores that are just breaking the street date, as well as scalpers selling the game early.
