METAL GEAR - PRODUCTION HOTLINE at TGS2024

At this point I only care about a potential MGS4 port so I don't have to rely on my fat PS3 not dying on me.
Delta looks like crap, honestly.

Graphically or overall?
Overall.
Obviously it's technically more impressive than a PS2 game, but they really ruined the overall aesthetics and character designs.
I'll probably grab it in a sale down the road to check it out, but I'm not interested in buying it at launch.

No it doesn't.... like at all, It Visually looks excellent.

Is it the lack of green everywhere? Change the filter in the menu lol

It's only getting hated on because Kojima isn't at Konami anymore it's literally the same game with excellent graphics and new controls and a better way of changing camo.

The character models in the latest trailer overall look great 🤦‍♂️ what am I missing?.

The hyperbole and clear hate this remake is getting is laughable.

Nah. I don't give 2 shits about the rift between Kojima and Konami... the game doesn't look good. It strikes me as the worst version of a remake, one that doesn't look all that dissimilar from frankly a sort of half-assed remaster.

Your bullet points there prove the point somewhat IMO -- same game with "excellent" (agree to disagree on that I guess) graphics is literally the barest of bare minimums, and a "better way of changing camo" is another minimal/quality of life update.

"New controls" sounds pretty vague... what are the new controls?

All in all, just doesn't move the needle. Doesn't look good. Meh.

I've read this a couple of times on this forum and it really suprises me.

I think a lot of gamers would love to see their favorite game get the same treatment as Delta has

There has never been a better time to replay the series. I haven't played mgs5 or rising, time to catch up. Might replay 1/2/3/4 as well.
