I just want to see how optimized it is and how good it looks on a PC.
Optus shut down its gaming network years ago so the filter won't help. The only ISP that offers unmetered access to more than its own content servers is Internode (and perhaps also other ii-owned ISPs, but this wasn't the case last I checked).
It was 250, no?
Shit, that's unfortunate
I'm not sure how old that download page is, but it does say Optus on there as a supported ISP. Maybe it's still worth a shot?

This is Platinum's first PC release right? Might be a bit bumpy. For some reason though I am optimistic.
First time having the limited Resolution options will affect me, I mean, I only have a x1200 monitor but I't will be weird to not match it.
Unless that's been addressed/fixed?
This happened to somebody on my friends list. He got his key by using Amazon's live support.
The 23GB pre-load, alongside knowing Black Flag and Ghosts are about the same size, have really put into light how craptacular the next generation is going to be for my Aussie internet. I'm on a 150GB monthly limit, and when one fucking game chews up 1/6th, total split between three people, one also a heavy internet user...
...yeeeaaah.
You should just buy a thumb drive and have one of us download it for then and mail it to you.The 23GB pre-load, alongside knowing Black Flag and Ghosts are about the same size, have really put into light how craptacular the next generation is going to be for my Aussie internet. Gamefly keys are out now go go go
JaseC's symbolic link shenanigans
YES THEY ARE.
Now, is there any way of pre-loading on a non-C: drive?
You can pre-load to another drive by:
- Installing Link Shell Extension
- Moving the depotcache folder (located in the root of the Steam folder) to your desired drive
- Right-clicking on said folder and selecting "Pick link source"
- Navigating to the root of your Steam folder, right-clicking somewhere within the empty space, hovering over "Drop link as" and finally selecting "Symbolic link"

WE EATIN TONIGHT FAM
Whoa whoa whoa.... What!?Makes very little sense. It almost seems like it's an error more than anything else. Why would they restrict in Ireland, when we get everything the UK gets?!
Two more days huh
Must finish my TLoU playthrough so I can go into this unimpeded
Whoa whoa whoa.... What!?
That fucking sucks, was really looking forward to this.
I just got done talking to the brand manager and checking this morning about this issue. Ireland has since been added to the country list. It was never intended to be blocked from sale in the first place, someone done goofed.
This gif, what.
So asia is intended?![]()
But you won't be able to enjoy other games ever again

For now it appears so. But I'm only in charge of North/South America so I can only comment to those regions and what others tell me specifically about outside regions.
nice man
your contributions in this thread have been great, it's awesome to have an inside guy be right here communicating like this

Thanks for being pro active. Still not showing up as available to purchase on Irish store, but this is no doubt going to be updated.I just got done talking to the brand manager and checking this morning about this issue. 1080p isn't the problem here, i'm more scared about performance on mid/high end rigs.

Now that we're at it, what's Konami's position on the monetization of videos of their games?
CPU
Minimum: Intel Core i5 2400/Phenom II X4 955
You Have: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3820QM CPU @ 2.70GHz
Question guys, Can you run it says I can't run it based on my specs but I don't understand why, the only place it fails in is the cpu and it says
That's not right... right?
Our position in Online/Social Media at KDE-US is as long as you are adhering to Fair Use, you are totally in the right. Sometimes we get complaints that people get flagged for something by Konami, but we assume overzealous content ID and we've worked with many YouTubers to get videos unflagged as promptly as possible. Most of the time we will only step in on cases of people linking to ISOs in the description (mainly PES). Personally, the only one that irks me is full longplays devoid of commentary or added additional content. At least be creative!
Granted, this is just our department. Things may be flagged by Japan/Europe or Legal for mysterious reasons unbeknownst to me. That can be harder to undo.
