Was saving up for a car, then went to melbourne for a week with friends, blew a shit load of money.

Upon returning from my trip, work stopping giving me hours, i was going out every week and now uni has started and i had to buy all my text books aswell as pay other fees.

I love MGS3, but imho you made a wise choice. (Pikmin 2 was my GOTY 2004. It is a head over heels improvement over the flatlined original. It is so fucking awesome and I hope you like it as much as I do.)

Only things i know about are boss mode and demo theather ( that's written on the back of the box , haven't unlocked it yet ) .

Don't know for sure if the transparent case is the normal edition ,on the back was also written that there's are a metallic edition , a limited edition and a limited metallic edition ( without any explanation , so i dont know for sure ).

Yeah the PAL boxart is actually ugliest of the three (still very good though). The US one is fantastic.

Can't believe a Konami game has a better boxart in NA :lol

Hah, yeh I was about to say the same thing. I'm a tad dissapointed with PAL boxart. Though, that being said, it still stomps a hole in the majority of boxarts out there now.

Yeah, the Boss is cut off, but now it's on the backcover.
Played 2 hours, nothing special happened, I think it's a bit harder without the radar and I keep bumping on trees when trying to escape the gunfire......

yeah, i am from germany (explains my poor englisch). but i think our pals at swiss get also the steelbook case. in germany, you can get the steelbook version only at one reatiler (saturn) - that sucks also. another big retailer gives you for the same price the normal version + the metal gear solid 1 artbook from konami. its really annoying, but i got my steelbook edtion and now... i am fine

btw.

the steelbook version only contains...a steelbook. it is not really special (for example: in comparsion to the metal case from doom 3).
