I have been meaning to play through Snake Eater again, but I just can't seem to get into it again. Regardless it's a great game. For that price definitely pick it up.

Using my vague level of deduction.....less than MGS2.

Seriously though, in Japan I think it was around 800,000+ or something which is pretty damn consistent because I believe MGS1 and MGS2 sold around the same too. They sure have a consistent fanbase in Japan.

In North America MGS2 sold over 2 million, MGS3 seems to be nearing a million, I'm not sure about Europe though, but I expect the same. Sorry I can't be more specific. Surely someone has the exact numbers?

Pretty dissapointing compared to MGS 2. Considering its a far superior game.

Do you rekon its because people were turned off by MGS2, or the fact that the market was flooded with other high profile game releases.

Though I do suspect once MGS4 is shown running on PS3 next year, it will turn heads again even if people liked MGS or not....damn E3 2006 is just so far away!
