I S-ranked this mission on both difficulties about two days ago. When you're near the power generator go into the weapon locker with the red door (works best if the three guys here are the last dudes you need to kill). Grab all the guns and the rocket launcher from there. After killing all targets and the waves start, dispose of the first wave coming through the big gate using whatever weapons you have. Then kill the two guys with the recoilless rifles (I usually throw a grenade at the one on the left, then focus on the other guy). Shoot 1 rocket at the helicoper. Now position yourself behind the waist-high concrete wall right across the red door that leads to the inner base. Keep your rocket launcher ready and as soon as you see guys running out, blast them to pieces. These are super easy kills. Repeat this three times and you're done.

Freaking aye, this fact terrifies me. I'm the compulsive type of player who needs to discover everything, and sometimes I'm pretty damn good at it too, but sometimes I'm also pretty dumb, and because of that am extremely frightened of screwing that up.
Don't worry about it, if you really want him you will find him. Most people at the preview event found him and they werent even specifically looking for him.
Btw. you can also replay missions so don't worry about it.

Just rewatched MGSV'S epilogue.
Have a feeling TPP will make it even more powerful. I hope the game really develops Les Enfants Terrible and Big Boss' relationship with his 'children,' the most interesting aspect of MGS to me has always been the parallel between Solid Snake and his father.
Makes me a little sad that we're never getting that MG1/2 remake. At least not by Kojima's hand. Would have brought things truly full circle.

From what I've seen I think emblems are kinda limited to begin with, & you only choose two preset words or 2 single letters. Get more parts from emblems and fultoning stuff I think.

I've made a decision.
Not getting MGS V rightaway. I will probably buy the game new but not get a new system until I can absolutely afford one. My laptop tempts me. It played thru GZ okay but the game seems ultra sensitive to the analog sticks on my 360 controller. I over adjust all the time trying to aim. There's all these darn settings for how fast the screen scrolls and mouse sensitity and whatever.
I dunno. With bills and rent I can afford maybe a $80 purchase per month. It would be easier if my roommate shared his PS4. But its his baby and I have like four consoles of my own plus an old laptop and this ridiculous newer laptop.
I noticed that Mario Maker is coming out on Wii U on Septermber 11th. I'll maybe get that and Hyrule Warriors as I have a Wii U and was waiting for the prices to go down. I'll try to think of a very patriotic bunch of stuff to include in my levels as well as make homages to the Lord of the Rings' second volume. I was really trying to avoid purchasing Wii U games that were over thirty dollars but the suspense is getting to me.

I've been reading that "no preload on Steam" thread and i got confused about the unlock time.
Some say it will unlock during midnight Sept 1st NZ time for everyone and others say it won't. What the fuck is going on?
Well, you'll know when the time comes. But I am expecting that you'll need a NZ VPN at least for the unlock and maybe also for the whole download.

The intro left me so mentally exhausted I had to take a break (making this post).
If Kyle Cooper's sequence is the one I think it is Kojima must have paid him $20 and given him 4 days to complete it. It's neat, though.

I will say this though....my game has been taking an awful long time to install. Longer than it said it would. I'm worried.

Well, then the download speed would be fucked up. Now i can download 1.3MBps max and its already slow...
I see.... Those 5 days seem to be the longest in my life so far..

Guys it's still installing, it says on the screen 507 seconds but I don't know if that was supposed to tick down. 507 seconds is around 8 minutes but at this point it's been past 15.
For obvious reasons I don't want to power down but I'm afraid it's stuck.
