It wasn't shown until 11 months ago. But I think I know the 'leak' you're talking about and that mansion definitely isn't in Bosnia.
Haha, yeah that one. Some of it sounds coherent but the

I don't know why people put so much effort into showing off their fake shit. Yeesh, do something productive.
BTW, the review embargoes for MGSV are apparently set for this Sunday.
"Enter the code under the cap of your Pepsi product for an exclusive in-game Pepsi skin for the cardboard box"
joking
Someone else said the review play event is set for this weekend. I highly doubt they will have an embargo end as people are still playing it.
Interesting, not sure if this was known but apparently the review event is only 4 days long (something like Watch Dogs had 8 days for comparison). Reviewers can't keep their saves, seems a feeling of not being able to see most of what the game has to offer is concerning, at least from someone I talk to. Using the 2-day May preview event as a frame of reference, some journos didn't get past 10% completion lol.
Review event is from the 18th to 21st.
You joke but...

I wonder if reviewers will be able to experience FOB.
4 days review event is a bit worrying though...considering how big the game is.

Everything should push Arakawa Under The Bridge.
That is dope as hell that Yae Yong gets to go to the MGSV revview event. That guy earned every right to be there. Proud of that guy.
Ugh, Metal Gear has always been filled with sudden bizarre plot twists that are probably super easy to get spoiled on...
Life just hasn't been the same since some gaming side cunt PM'ed me a laundry list of Bioshock Infinite spoilers on the second day of release :/
If true I'm surprised it's that early. I was expecting the embargo to end 1 or 2 days before release. So for sure Sunday the embargo lifts?
He probably has them on a timer to post each night. I'm sure he has made these videos in advancedNo countdown retrospectives for a few days then I guess.
Go out there Yong, make the Nasian proud.
They won't spoil (all of) the story on the reviews.
if there are more locations that are secret lets hope they do not spoils those
RE: Journo stuff.
There's been a few (?) review/preview events lately. Journos were/are given X time to play the game and I guess write whatever they want based on how much they experienced. Embargo drops soon. I don't know if you'll see journos who've finished it throwing out reviews or just previews. Hypothetically if I had attended I wouldn't be writing a review.
EDIT: Also, thumb rule with stuff like this, if you want to avoid spoilers from a popular, narrative heavy game you really need to start limiting what sites you go to and what content you read. I mean, if you really don't want to be spoiled and are already sold on the game, maybe don't comb over a hundred fucking reviews/previews as they pop up as you have absolutely no way of knowing what content will be included in them. Same goes for forums. As people start getting the game early (which they inevitably will) maybe don't go reading the comments section of your favourite website, or highlighting those black bars because it couldn't totally be a big spoiler. There's only two weeks to go. If you really, truly don't want to be spoiled exhibit some self control.

Yeah, I kinda wish I didn't read about the other location other than Afghanistan.
I am active on twitter so I am basically fucked when it comes to spoilers.
I am really curious about review scores but not really interested in review content though....

Gotta get dem clicks, doe.
Yeah, I'm sure a number of outlets opted out of the event, as they can be kinda scummy. Given the isolated and controlled environment they're in. We should expect to see some sites post their reviews sometime after.

The only thing I want spoiled is what your Ground Zeroes data can get you. Some bastard must know, why won't they tell us?
I'm anxious to hear in what ways it's disappointing. I need something to temper my hype.
If anything I'm anticipating "repetitive mission objectives" based on previews and extrapolating the variety in Ground Zeroes to a 100 hour game.
True that. I dunno. I just can't legitimately "review" a game in a controlled environment, even if I finish it.
We attended (and by we, I don't mean me), but we're going for a "first few hours" preview instead of a review.
Why you gotta call Jeff out like that?I can see the game being pretty divisive as far as review scores go. You have to imagine that most reviewers won't have played Peace Walker, and anyone going into this game expecting another MGS1-4 style experience is going to have a rude awakening. I can just imagine the Jeff Gerstmanns of the world ignoring Mother Base in the early going and then blaming the game when it comes back to bite them later on.
The way I look at it is, this game has been what Kojima has been wanting to make for years, he originally wanted MGS2 to go to Afghanistan, he originally wanted MGS3 to be fully open world.I can see the game being pretty divisive as far as review scores go.
